Does this product keep hair soft and let you run fingers through hair after applying?

Yes, it does. But do not use a lot of it. Hair is very manageable and soft

which Rusk product is best for very thick wavy frizzy bushy hair?

Wired works very well on my frizzy hair.

Use with curling iron?

I’m not hot on using this on long hair, unless your hair is very thick and coarse.

Want a thickener and volumizer like 'being gutsy'?

It gives more body but not really gutsy.
