Saves unplugging all the time to turn off at night. **Q: Could I wire this into a laptop charger cable?** A: I am not an electrician but I think that depending on which end of the charger; ie the 240/110v side or the thinner cable on the other end would make a difference. I would not wire this at the thicker 240/110v side as this item is rated for lighting (lamp) therefore a lower current. Just pulling the charging lead out of the laptop end would suffice?
