Hook Fridge Fan

Works great! Was a bit intimidating to install but video was helpful. You have to pay attention to the way the clips should go or it won’t fit onto the grill well. Finding the 12 volt attachment place was the most challenging part for us as we have very limited electrical knowledge and a high fear factor. We used a volt meter, the electrical diagram from the new refrigerator and cut the 120 power off before attaching the electrical hook up. This part of the instructions was vague. We drilled a hole ( scary) and fed the control wires into the motorcoach and attached the control box inside a cabinet. It works great and is very quiet. I also have a battery operated refrigerator fan on the inside of the refrigerator. We had no issues with the refrigerator keeping cold, the freezer kept everything frozen even the ice cream on a very hot weekend.

I liked the fast delivery of this product, only took two days.I had researched this product thoroughly before purchasing it. It's expensive for what you get, but the wired automatic or manual control for the fan made me pay the high cost. I have had this fan on in manual mode for two days straight, 24 hours a day, then in automatic mode for another 24 hours, and I am REALLY IMPRESSED with how it removed the hot air at the top of my fridge compartment. My fridge is in a slide out, so I installed the fan on the top vent on side of slide. The anchor brackets would not fit my vent cover, so I ended up tying the fan to the vent cover using black tyraps. I think it is mounted more securely using the tyraps than the brackets, as they might vibrate loose in time. I took a chance on this rather expensive exhaust fan, but after using it, and seeing the results of lower temperatures in my refrigerator, I wouldn't hesitate recommending it to anyone who needs to cool down their fridge. My refrigerator would only get down to 55/60 degrees in the bottom section, and that's with a dual fan on the fins blowing air to circulate the inside air. With this new exhaust fan in the back of the fridge, it is at 35 degrees in the bottom and 10 degrees in the freezer. The outside temperature here where I live in Texas has been mid 90 degrees all week. This fan has really impressed me and if I ever need another exhaust fan for my RV, I WILL buy another Titan Double Rack cooling fan for sure!

Had this recommended to me for my RV (Roadtrek van). Purchased this 2 fan unit from Amazon. Priced well. Arrived in timely manner. Out of the box, I was concerned that the wires coming out of the remote control unit weren't properly constructed (see picture showing exposed inner wires), but after several back and fourths with Titan (they were responsive) I decided to use it because although none of their reps specifically stated that that was how they are supposed to look, they did say it was OK. From the sales videos, it looked easy to install, etc. However, when I got down to it, it was immediately apparent that my external grill would not work with the provided mounting system. Not a big deal, as four zip ties did the trick easily. Then, I discovered that by installing the fan in the center of the grill (as they did in their videos), the cover would not fit back on to the van because the gas pipes were in the way. Again, not a big deal, just had to shift it over to the right 4 inches. The hardest part was installing the remote control unit into the van. There was plenty of wire length, but I ended up having to remove the fridge in order to snake the wires through, as well as get the recommended placement of the temp sensor at 1" above the evaporator. Much more work than I originally envisioned! At the end of the day, this unit is working as it is supposed to. I left the van fridge on with LP overnight (in Florida), and the unit cooled down in just over 14 hours, which is much much better than in the past. I believe this will help a lot going forward. One last thing, is that they also make custom 3 and 4 fan versions of this solution, but that was not readily apparent to me on the Amazon site. I might've purchased a three fan model had I known, becasue down here in Florida, my van fridge needs all the help it can get!

We purchased a fairly new travel trailer in hopes of having no issues in our camping trips. Our friends bought a brand new luxurious trailer and we both had issues with the temperatures going up and down with the outside weather conditions. In the summer our dometic frig got as high as 93 degrees which was heartbreaking for us and of course ruined all our food which was a very expensive loss. We had to go buy more food, lots of ice and 4 large ice chests to get us through our trip which definitely takes away from the joys of owning a travel trailer. We both bought and installed these fans which blows the heat out of the area where the cooling system is and we’ve had no problems since. Freezer keeping everything frozen and frig keeping every refrigerated. No fears of eating spoiled food. These fans are a necessity for every trailer and RV.

I installed the Titan fans on the top vent of our RV’s slide-mounted refrigerator, helping expel hot air. I mounted the controller just above the refrigerator door, and ran the wires over the top of the refrigerator and then down the back of it to the lower vent area where there was a 12V continuous source. I used cable ties to mount the fans to the vent, and that worked very easily. Fans seem to work very well and are quiet. It is easy feel the hot air being expelled with your hand when the fridge is running. Nice to have everything needed in one convenient package.

Works. But jury's still out in the Florida heat. Will update.

Excellent product. Our RV freezer is at 12 degrees and refrigerator is at 33 in 102 degree weather. I set it to auto and that it. Easy to install. I recommend it to anyone who wants more cooling to their refrigerator/freezer....

On 26 AUG 2023, I purchased via Amazon the 90mm Titan dual fan refergerator fan. Installation was easy and the product worked exceptionally well. Used the fan for about a month in Idaho in my travel trailer. Winterized trailer until June 2024. Occupied the trailer and the auto function of the controller was inop. Sent Titan an in-warranty E-Mail with specifics. Over three months the Titan Customer Support failed to rectify the situation. Fortunately, Amazon Leadership Team did. Shame on Titan. Great product, but terrible customer support. Thank you.

Installed this fan on the vent under the seat of our vans battery/ inverter/chargers etc to help with the extraction of heat on those warm days. Works very well & love the auto mode and the fact you can easily turn off when not using. Nice kit with clear instructions

Fungerade som förväntat. Låter inte heller så mycket. Hittills mycket nöjd.

Easy to install and works as designed. Very quiet.

Gut verarbeitetes Material. Leichte Montage durch vorgerüstete Elemente. Intelligente Steuerung über Temperatursensor im Automatikbetrieb. Abschaltbar. Trotzdem klare Kaufempfehlung.
