Enjoy fast data transfers and password protection. Review: Tiny, fast and perfect for leaving plugged in - I bought the 128GB SanDisk Ultra Fit to add some extra storage without having a full-size USB stick sticking out of the side of my computer, and it's been excellent. The biggest advantage is its size. It's so small that once it's plugged in you barely notice it's there, making it ideal for leaving permanently connected to a desktop PC, laptop or media device without worrying about knocking it. Despite its compact size, performance is impressive. I regularly use it for transferring documents, photos and video files, and it's noticeably quicker than older USB memory sticks I've owned. The 128GB capacity is also plenty for carrying a large amount of data around. Build quality is exactly what I'd expect from SanDisk. I've used their memory cards and flash drives for years in everything from cameras to computers, and they've always proved dependable. If you need a USB drive that can effectively become permanent extra storage without protruding from the device, this is an excellent choice. Small, fast, reliable and excellent value for money. Review: Works fine - Item was delivered on time and works fine. 64Gb seems about the best value for money. The short length is better than the longer ones as there is much less chance of it getting broken if permanently left in the USB socket. I would buy it again. Update 9/12/2024: I've purchased 64Gb types of this drive before, this one is 256Gb. I've found them to be reliable and being compact they do not protrude much from the USB port and are therefore less likely to be damaged like the longer types. I bought it to record TV programmes, my (ancient) Samsung TV has a USB port and is able to record to suitable memory sticks plugged into it. The TV needs to format the memory stick differently than the default formatting that comes with it. When formatting it checks that the drives write and read speeds are sufficient to record to. I've found that these SanDisk Ultra Fit ones are one of the few that are fast enough for the TV to record to. Many other types may claim faster speeds but my TV reports they are too slow. This one, like the other SanDisk ones, works fine. My 64Gb one has run out of space but this 256Gb will store a lot more. Note than when formatted the capacity is 232.9Gb and it is normal for this to be less than the stated capacity of 256Gb. It is confusing that it says in the description heading "speeds up to 400 MB/s read" but in the details lower down it states "Write speed 4 megabytes_per_second"! These speeds are for drives of 128GB to 512GB capacity. However, the speed of the drive will also depend on the device that it's being used with and whether its a USB 2 or USB 3 port etc. I've no way of measuring the actual read/write speeds but it's fast enough for my requirements. I am happy with the drive and would puchase one again. ## Features - Compact plug-and-stay design to instantly add storage to your laptop, game console and more - Get space for your high-resolution photos, videos, and music, plus documents and more at a great value with up to 1TB of storage - Password-protect files using a downloadable software - Recover accidentally deleted files with RescuePRO Deluxe software ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B077VYCV37 | | Best Sellers Rank | 275 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) 11 in USB Flash Drives | | Box Contents | 5-year Warranty, Flash Drive | | Brand | SanDisk | | Brand Name | SanDisk | | Colour | Black | | Compatible Devices | Devices with USB 3.1 ports | | Compatible Phone Models | Laptop,Personal Computer | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 113,675 Reviews | | Flash Memory Type | USB | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00619659163730 | | Hardware Connectivity Technology | USB Type A, USB Type C | | Hardware Interface | USB 3.0 | | Hardware interface | USB 3.0 | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 9D x 15W x 10H millimetres | | Item Type Name | SanDisk Ultra Fit 64 GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive up to 130MB/s read | | Item Weight | 0.05 Ounces | | Manufacturer | SanDisk | | Manufacturer Part Number | SDCZ430-064G-G46 | | Memory Storage Capacity | 64 GB | | Memory storage capacity | 64 GB | | Model Number | SDCZ430-064G-G46 | | Network Connectivity Technology | USB | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Features | Compact | | Product Warranty | 5 years | | Read Speed | 150 Megabytes Per Second | | Read speed | 150 Megabytes Per Second | | Special feature | Compact | | UPC | 619659163730 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Write Speed | 60 MB/s | | Write speed | 60 MB/s | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SanDisk - **Hardware interface:** USB 3.0 - **Memory storage capacity:** 64 GB - **Special feature:** Compact - **Write speed:** 60 MB/s ## Images ![Ultra Fit USB Type-A Flash Drive 64GB (USB 3.2 Memory Stick up to 150MB/s Read Speeds, for Laptops and Gaming Consoles, Plug-and-Stay, RescuePRO Data Recovery Software) Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91281jpnT5L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Configuration, Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this still suffer from high temperatures like the previous generation Ultra Fit?** A: As it is all plastic it does not transfer the heat away quickly and with its small physical size it can't get the heat away fast enough. But it keeps working when it is hot. I ended up using a metal cased Flash Drive (yes it still gets hot) but it cools faster and the socket in my laptop is also metal so heat transfer is better. **Q: What it the write speed???? can't believe the most important information is missing.** A: I've just bought the 128GB version, and am getting around 22MB/s sustsined write speed. Context is everything: I'm using a very fast laptop with SSD, copying through a USB 3.0 port, and the files are large enough not to skew the results at circa 1GB each. Peak transfer rates are around twice that, but I tend to ignore those as misleading, and focus on the sustained trnasfer rates which tend to give a truer measure. **Q: My car can only accept fat32 format. can i plug and play with this usb or do i need to format the whole 256gb before i transfer my music?** A: Madam, Sir, I am Eleni from SanDisk® Customer Care and I would like to thank you for your question. Please bear in mind that this USB drive may come preformatted to FAT32 or exFAT based on its production. If your card stereo only support FAT32, you’ll need to make sure the USB drive is formatted to FAT32 on Windows or MS-DOS (FAT) on Mac. If the drive is preformatted to exFAT and you are using a Windows computer, you’ll need a third party app to format it to FAT32. We do recommend using the one below. As format will erase all data from your product, please make sure that you have everything backed up prior to proceeding. 1. Please open your Internet browser and go to http://download.cnet.com/HP-USB-Disk-Storage-Format-Tool/3000-2094_4-10974082.html 2. Click the "Download Now" Link 3. Please select the save option and then select the desktop as the destination folder 4. Please save that utility on your computer's desktop screen. 5. Please run once it is saved on your desktop. 6. Right click on the app to execute it as an administrator and then format your drive to FAT32. Best regards, Eleni SanDisk Customer Care **Q: Is this flash drive compatible for ReadyBoost on Windows 7?** A: Yes, I have Windows 7 and I put the drive in the PC and right-clicked to go to Properties. The ReadyBoost tab shows up straight away, with a slider to set the amount of memory on the flash drive to allocate to ReadyBoost, up to about 4G. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tiny, fast and perfect for leaving plugged in *by B***Y on 26 July 2026* I bought the 128GB SanDisk Ultra Fit to add some extra storage without having a full-size USB stick sticking out of the side of my computer, and it's been excellent. Heats up a bit so Im not sure this is good for heavy use. But for the price and size, its great. Size is mall and fit in laptop without sticking out. ## Frequently Bought Together - SanDisk 64GB Ultra Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive - SDCZ430-064G-G46 - AuviPal 2-in-1 Micro USB to USB Adapter (OTG Cable + Power Cable) for Fire Stick, PlayStation Classic and More - 2 Pack - AuviPal 2-in-1 Powered Micro USB to USB OTG Adapter 90 Degree Right Angled for FireStick, S/NES Classic Mini, Sega Genesis and More - 2 Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/59206715-ultra-fit-usb-type-a-flash-drive-64gb-usb-3](https://www.desertcart.no/products/59206715-ultra-fit-usb-type-a-flash-drive-64gb-usb-3) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
