Seals perfectly!
I've tried many crimpers and this one is outstanding! It's sturdy and does the job perfectly. I got it to make my pierogies. The arthritis in my hands and fingers limited the quantity I could make, and I actually started to dread when my children would ask me to make them. This crimper makes it a breeze, and then I decided to try it with Apple turnovers and I got the same wonderful result! I can now make both whenever I want. I highly recommend this product because it's easy to use and very sturdy. I crimp 150 pierogies with ease. Get it you won't be sorry.

Simplest, fastest and best way to make stuffed dumplings (pierogies).
These worked great. I’ve made pierogi for years using a pastry cutter, cupping the dough in my palm then folding it over and crimping the edge. Worked but I never mastered making them look professional until I got this. Now they look as good as they taste. Hint. Use the larger pastry cutter 4” with the medium mold that’s 3”. The excess dough easily separates from the mold and I simply re-roll the scraps with more dough. Much faster too.

Glad I Bought It
I used this to make pierogis for Christmas Eve (filled dumplings for those who don’t know what those are). Now that I have arthritis in my thumbs, pinching them shut by hand is not just time-consuming - it hurts! This little gadget saved me time and pain!
User
Beautiful, but with some flaws
Unusual shape for dumplings. Beautiful dumplings, but the shape does not seal well enough, despite strong compression.
User
