This series has won the highest rating both as comic and as anime. The protagonist aspires to be the greatest ninja among a village full of shinobi warrior-magicians. But he must first earn the respect of his peers and teachers while maintaining his integrity. In Japanese. Review: Naruto - I bought this at the start of studying Japanese. With furigana accompanying every kanji, it certainly does not seem like a bad first choice. The language does not feel too advanced, but still far beyond my abilities after a single month of study. I've only watched a couple episodes of the anime and it seems pretty close to the manga, so I expect that over time, if I keep watching the anime alongside the manga, I'll find this to be a very useful book to develop my Japanese skills. Review: Hiragana-Leseübungsbuch - Ich wollte vor allem Hiragana lesen üben, und hier hat das Naruto-Buch meine Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Die wenigen Kanji, die im Text vorkommen, sind direkt mit Hiragana erklärt - perfekt!
