Batman: Hush: Hush: DC Compact Comics Edition

Son loves these

Absolutely loved reading this, the artwork is beautiful and the story is awesome. It is one of those stories where you can't easily put it down.

Great comic, amazing story with lots of appearances from batman’s rogues gallery, came in great condition too. Compact comics are definitely a good format!

It's good for a first Batman comic but after reading better stories like Long Halloween, Knightfall, and Killing Joke, this just feels childish and tries to take itself too seriously too much.

Interesting story and paper quality is good arrived on tine

Got this for my son and it's now his favourite Comic.

Read it

Good product great value

I was very contented to have this. I am able to read the Hush Storyline without breaking the bank. The artwork is still there only in compact size. So if you are a collector and do not want your whole Hush Storyline Collection pages damaged, buy this so you can read it without hesitation.

Ich hab auf Catwomen gegoont. 10/10

I am a big collector of Omnibus and Trade Paperback comics. I was curious about the new smaller budget format from DC, so grabbed Hush to fill a gap in my collection. The quality of the book itself and content within, cant be beaten for its RRP. Nice to see DC finally following the Manga model to make American comics more accessible. These should be available in every store that sells books and ever green. The pros, it very much goes back to the way they made the old Vertigo paperbacks, a cheaper/lighter and grittier paper quality, which I personally really like. The cons, when you scale down artwork and especially text that was intended to be twice the size, it can make the legibility very difficult. It may just be for the Hush title, but Batman's speech bubbles for example were insanely small and hard to read. I think DC may overlooked this issue.

This story was a great Batman read, I’d honestly argue essential since it’s one of those stories that feels like a perfect introduction to what makes the character so compelling. If you’re looking for Batman, it’s here. I don’t know what that person was yapping about, but it’s clear they didn’t read the whole story, and went in expecting Batman to be portrayed completely different. The picture they included wasn’t even the full picture of the panel, the speech bubble in the picture is coming from Harley Quinn (NOT Batman). The story is far from vanilla, with multiple twists and turns. The story isn’t just about Bruce being batman, it’s also about Bruce’s personal struggles. He’s not just fighting villains throughout the story, he’s fighting doubt and who he can trust. The DC compact editions are meant to be a slightly smaller format than your traditional tpb, and it honestly isn’t too much smaller at all. It keeps reading affordable and I’m really glad I was able to pick this up at $8. The DC compact editions have made reading fun again and affordable again.
