Review: Good for additional USB-C ports - This USB-C hub plugs into my USB-C port and gives me 4 USB-C ports to use. I like the length as it gives me plugs that are not right next to my laptop.
Review: Very net item. - It's smaller then I thought it be. About 4" wide. It can handle large data transfers. I put my backup drive through it. Seems to be about to handle that my drawing tablet and other USB's all at the same time. Would buy again.

**Q: Why does the disconnect occur ?**
A: When two or more hard drives are connected, the hub will have insufficient current and may be disconnected. This is not a product defect , but a normal phenomenon. So, When connecting more than 2 hard disks, the power supply port must be connected.

**Q: Will connecting a USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 device limit the speed?**
A: Yes, when you connect a USB 3.0 device, it will run at USB 3.0 speed; when you connect a USB 2.0 device, it will run at USB 2.0 speed, not at 10Gbps. So, your device must support 10Gbps.

Super fast bandwidth, plug and use, compact, nice long cable. Gave 4 starts because both female and male USB-C connectors’ size are a bit off and felt a bit forced when connecting to my MacBook Pro and most peripherals. IMPORTANT: Note the vendor makes it clear that video and host charging are not supported. Would have been nice, though. This doesn’t influence my rating.
