Review: We just ordered two more. - That should tell you that these little nightlights are good. We got one box (there are 2 in each box), figuring we'd try them out. They are GREAT. Soft light, but bright enough to see by. We are aging people with aging cats--everyone in the house needs to be able to see at night! Now I'm not worried about tripping over a sleeping kitty in the hallway at night. They get dimmer as the area gets brighter, and they light up when the area is dark. We're getting more to spread around the apartment. Also nice that recycled plastics are used, and you can't beat the price.
Review: Great light source but a beacon for my dog - The lights are bright yet relatively small. It was a cool-toned color. I was sooo excited to have these that I decided to move one into my hallway. Unfortunately, my dog, Hans Gruber, also loved this light. He unplugged it and chewed it. I’m giving it 5-stars because it didn’t make a big mess when shattered by his jaws. And it didn’t have lots of little components for him to swallow (happily surprised). I will be purchasing more, but I will no longer put any in the hallway.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these red leds or white leds with a red lens?**
A: It has white LEDs with a red lens.  You can actually see a very slight bit of white light bleeding from the sides where the lens snaps into the base.  It does not impact the overall lighting, as it is a strong red light from near or afar.

**Q: Is this a motion sensor night light?**
A: Not a motion sensor, but it does have a (mostly nonfunctional) photo sensor. Just a night light.

**Q: Is there a "soft glow" version of the red light? All the comments seem to say they are too bright!**
A: We have ours in the bathroom and it's perfect.

**Q: Are these UL approved?**
A: NO, but it has attained PSE, RoHS and CE certification. Thank you for your inquiry.

I found the night lights in the Kim Komando newsletter. We live full time in our motor home. We needed night lights to turn on automatically in the bathroom and living areas without needing to turn on overhead lights. These are perfect: small footprint, plug in, turns on automatically at dusk and off in sufficient natural light. The light is just bright enough to ensure safety.
