Pink XCOATTIPSShort Gel Nail Tips

These truly look like your natural nails if you prep correctly. I love them for exactly that reason. They’re also very easy to put on and the perfect length to still look elegant but not get in your way. If you prep right, you can have these bad boys last A LONG time. Edited to add a photo of the pinker nails!! Oh my godddd I’m OBSESSED with these nails. I will never ever buy another again for the natural look. They’re so easy to put on and truly look so natural

Short nail bed girls, these are for us! I was looking for a more natural-looking press-on and did quite a bit of research before trying these. I wanted something simple, natural, flexible, and easy to apply at home without having to do a ton of prep. These Bartbox press-ons are exactly what I was looking for! I’ve been doing my nails at home for a little while now using a MelodySusie E-File and Aprés Builder Top Gel Coat, and I had previously been an avid CurvLife press-on girl. I love CurvLife, but I was specifically looking for something a little more flexible and easier to work with. These definitely fit the bill. ⭐ The fit is AMAZING for short nail beds My nail beds are flatter and wider, which can make finding press-ons that actually sit flush across the entire nail bed difficult. These are flexible enough to conform to my natural nail instead of leaving gaps along the sides. My biggest recommendation is to make sure each nail sits completely flush across your nail bed before applying the glue. You want a good seal with no gaps where air or glue can get in or escape. I think this makes a huge difference in how long they last. ⭐ The sizing is SO much easier Another thing I love is how the tips are packaged. There are plenty of nails included for additional manicures, but more importantly, they are organized in a way that makes sizing your nails much easier. If you do your nails at home, you KNOW the struggle of being stuck between two sizes and trying to figure out which one will work. These make that process much less confusing. ⭐ My application routine for longevity I use CurvLife nail glue because I’ve had it last for weeks. For these, I lightly use my MelodySusie E-File on the back of the press-on to rough up the surface, then wipe it with an alcohol wipe and let it dry completely before applying glue to both the press-on and my natural nail. This has made a HUGE difference in how long my press-ons stay on. After the nails were applied, I also gently buffed the surface of the press-ons and applied my Aprés Builder Top Gel Coat and curing for 90 seconds. Mine have not peeled at all. Even though these say they come pre-prepped, I would still recommend gently buffing them if you’re planning to use a gel top coat. It gives the top coat something to grip onto. The gel cured perfectly and has stayed intact. ⭐ Comfortable and actually practical These are also the perfect length for me. They give me that polished, salon-nail look without being so long that I can’t comfortably do normal everyday things. And they have a strong apex, which I absolutely love because it gives them a more professional, structured appearance. These photos were taken one week after my initial application, and I am genuinely impressed with how they still look. If you’re someone with shorter, flatter, or wider nail beds who has struggled to find press-ons that actually fit and stay put, I highly recommend giving these a try. They make salon-looking nails completely doable at home, and I honestly can’t believe how good they look on. I’ll definitely be using Bartbox from now on!

I absolutely love these! The color is exactly what I hoped for. I ordered the pale pink in the “length” and think they’re gorgeous. I would probably do extra short next time if I wanted them to truly feel short, but that’s typical with any press ons. I like these the most because they come so neatly on a little tray with the size, and since there’s 5 sets you can easily see for next time you do it which nails fit without even needing to write it down and keep track of your size. Amazing price, and I use with the “curvlife semi solid glue” and they last almost two weeks. I put gel top coat over them and put them under gel lamp. Perfection!!!

❗️Edited after wear test: I changed my review from 5 stars to 4 stars. These nails stayed on really well, but I struggled with the top coat because it began to peel off around the edges of the nail after 6-7 days. I think it was an error in my application and I didn’t seal the edges with the gel top coat properly. I still haven’t used the gel nail glue yet because it makes me nervous and I don’t want to use an electric nail file to get the glue off. I use the Beauty Secrets nail glue and I swear I think these nails could survive a nuclear war. I don’t mind the top coat peeling because it’s an easy fix. These nails save me money and still look good for a long time. I usually get bored and soak the nails off before they’re actually ready to come off naturally. Original post: These nails are absolutely worth the money. You need to have the builder gel and top coat kit with the UV lamp, but I use my own nail glue to stick these on. I ordered the XS size and these nails are quite small but perfect for my finger size. I didn’t cut the length down at all. I type for work all day and these are the perfect length in my opinion. You may have a harder time with these if your nail beds are larger. Be sure to pay attention to the size when you’re buying these. The nails are thin but that is why you’ll need the builder gel kit, it turns them into acrylic type thickness so they are sturdier. Apply these nails like you usually would prep to apply any press on nail (I haven’t used the BTArtbox gel glue yet). The nails are a gorgeous sheer pink once you apply the builder gel and top coat. This was my first time ever using builder gel and I just applied it like regular nail polish and the cured it per the directions. A little bit of builder gel goes a long way so be careful not to glop it on and ❗️DO NOT CURE THE BUILDER GEL ONTO YOUR SKIN❗️, you risk developing a gel allergy if you do that. I use rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad to wipe of excess gel. The builder gel finishes a bit sticky out of the lamp, but after you wipe the top coat on and then cure it completely, the stickiness is gone. These nails come with enough for 4 sets. Since this is my first time using these nails I will update later with the wear test lengths. So far very good quality, very user friendly and WAAAAY cheaper than the salon, even if you buy the builder gel kit.

My new go-to nails!!! These say “extra short”, but I personally would just consider them a TRUE short almond nail size (if comparing to getting them done at a salon). The regular “short” sets in this brand (like many brands, besides impress and kiss) are way too long. But these are perfect! The quality is great! Keep in mind, they need a quick top coat. Even if you wanted the matte look, I would not consider these nails complete as is, and would still recommend using a matte top coat. The reason is, like all tabbed nails, is that you need to lightly buff the tips after gently snapping off your nail sizes. I think they knew this, so the nail as is does not have a complete look and is more like a perfect base for whichever clear finish top coat you prefer to get that beautiful jelly nail look. It would probably be so cute with a shimmer or glitter top coat too! Or maybe attempt an ombré, oooo, the ideas are flowing! These are so gorgeous and it only took about 5 minutes to do. The numbered sizes on the bottoms are easy to read and being on tabs, you can just slide your fingers underneath to quickly find the right sizes instead of digging through a little bag of nails and sorting out the mixed up sizes (such a pet peeve when nail companies are too lazy or cheap to make sure they package your nails already sorted and organized by size). I used their sticky nail tabs with these (the best I’ve found so far, btw) which were clearly labeled with the corresponding sizes and made applying a breeze. I prepped with an alcohol wipe, put the sticky pads on my nails, pressed on the nails, gently buffed the tips, applied two quick coats of gel no-wipe top coat (in the pink bottle) and ran out the door for blueberry picking! It’s been a few days and they are holding up beautifully. I imagine I should be able to reuse these several times with the sticky tabs. But I do also use brush on glue at times when I can keep my nails on a bit longer, and occasionally UV resin to gel my nails on if I am sure that I don’t need to take them off for a long time (like vacation). In those instances, I don’t attempt to reuse nails because usually the removal process destroys them. But with the price of these and how many sets you get, it’s still a great deal and far cheaper than getting them done at a salon. So all-in-all, two gorgeous thumbs up!

I love these nails. They’re my new favorite thing and the perfect solution for me. I’ve tried pretty much all ways of doing my nails - acrylic, poly gel, regular press ons, and now these gel press ons. I love press ons, but the issue with the regular ones is that the paint on them chips, scratches, rhinestones fall off, etc. And you’re not able to put a top coat on them to help prevent that, because it will only peel. These gel press ons solve those issues perfectly. I can paint them, put rhinestones on them, do designs, wear a top coat and it sticks/stays without issue. They also adhere very, very well and almost have an acrylic-like feel when on. I’ve had them on for a bit over a week so far, and they’re super secure - definitely showing no signs of going anywhere. Typically with regular press ons, 1 or 2 would have fell off by now and I would have had to glue it back on but these gel ones have not budged AT ALL and I’ve done so much with my hands. I’m sure I could do just about anything with these on and they wouldn’t fall off. I’m more worried about getting them off, but I’ll cross that bridge when I get there. I also think they’re a fabulous value, going for about $12 a box currently. I’ll be able do my nails 5x with this pack, for just $12. You can get a good box of regular press ons for about $7 or $8 but you’ll only be able to use it one time, so you do the math. Overall, with all things considered, these come out on top and I highly recommend them. The only downside to these versus the regular ones is that they’re not pre-designed, so you’ll have to spend extra time designing them if you don’t want to wear them as is in which they’re still perfectly cute, but I do tend to get bored and like to switch it up but don’t always feel like or know how to do certain designs. So, that’s the only thing but beyond that, they’re still awesome. Just know that you’ll need to have a UV cure lamp and gel nail glue because regular nail glue won’t work. You can get a nail lamp for pretty cheap and it’s worth the investment. With these things and a proper prep, you’ll be good to go, promise! Update: It’s 5 months later and I’m finally re-ordering. I’ve done my nails 5x and they’ve lasted 3 weeks easily each time without falling off. In fact, I’ve never had one fall off regardless of how long I kept them on. Of course, as with any nails (acrylic, etc), after the weeks pass, they no longer look as fresh but that’s to be expected being that your nails grow out or whatever else, that’s why you do a new set. I still can’t think of a better way to do your nails in a way that is durable and lasts. They feel the same as having on acrylics and last just as long but they’re a WHOLE lot easier to do. I’m completely positive that it was a user error if anyone has had an issue with these nails.

These are soft gel full-cover nail tips, not press-ons, and they are excellent quality. The short almond length is absolutely perfect, especially if you have short nail beds like I do. They give just enough nail past the fingertip to look polished while still being easy to type and do daily tasks comfortably. The pink color is beautiful and slightly sheer, very natural and classy. Because the nails themselves are already pink, there’s no need to add polish, which keeps them thin, lightweight, and not bulky at all. I topped mine with a builder gel and a top coat, and they were very durable. These can be applied using either a gel glue cured under a lamp or regular nail glue. I used nail glue (the BT Artbox brush-on glue), did thorough prep, and they lasted 2–3 weeks. I personally like to change my nails every two weeks and remove them with a glue remover, and that worked perfectly. The set includes five full sets of nails with 16 sizes, making it easy to get a good fit. Overall, these are natural-looking, timeless, and practical soft gel nails that hold up well with proper prep. I’ll definitely repurchase.

I love these nails so much because they the perfect nude color but they have one downside: they CRACK on the side walls!!
