Heimeier Adapter Heart

Let me tell you, when I first considered upgrading my home with a modern smart thermostat, I was genuinely worried. My home is equipped with older TVR valves, and the thought of ripping them out to install something more contemporary was daunting, to say the least. That's when I stumbled upon the Heimeier Adapter Heart, and honestly, it felt like I found the missing puzzle piece I'd been searching for.Installation Was a BreezeYou know how some home improvement projects can turn into a never-ending nightmare? This was not one of those times. The Heimeier Adapter Heart just clicked right into place on my older radiator valves. I was floored at how effortless it was—no fuss, no mess, and definitely no plumber needed. It Just WorksIt's amazing how this little adapter opens up a whole world of possibilities. Suddenly, my outdated valves were ready for a fancy new smart thermostat. It fit like a glove, with zero leaks or issues. Now I can manage my home's heating like never before, all thanks to this unassuming but brilliant piece of engineering.Easy on the WalletI was bracing myself for a big expense to modernize my radiator system, but this adapter saved the day without breaking the bank. It's affordable, especially when you consider the costs you might face with a more complicated upgrade. Plus, it's a one-time purchase that brings lasting value to your home.A Greener ChoiceI love that by enabling me to use a smart thermostat, the Heimeier Adapter Heart also helps me be more energy-efficient. I have better control over my home's heating, which means I can cut down on wasteful energy usage. It's a win for me and a small but meaningful win for the planet. To Sum It UpLook, upgrading a home can often be a tangle of complications and expenses you didn't see coming. But the Heimeier Adapter Heart has been nothing short of a lifesaver for me. It's made the transition to a smart thermostat seamless, affordable, and honestly, kind of fun. If you're in a situation like mine, with older TVR valves holding you back, I can't recommend this adapter enough. It's changed my home life for the better, and I'm so grateful for it.

Does the job of converting the valve for use with Drayton wiser controller.

I bought some Eqiva digital radiator valve thermostats at a good price only to find that our radiator thermostat valve screw threads are the older 28mm thread rather than the more modern 30mm thread required and thus I needed an adaptor in order to fit a modern thermostat. All these these type of adaptors are a daft price for what they are (even crude moulded plastic ones) and ended up costing more than the digital TRV I needed to adapt (beware a bargain bought in ignorance) but I took a chance on this & after seeing a German reviewer who purchased one for exactly the same requirement. This is one that Amazon UK sources from Germany (hence the majority of reviews in German). It is of a very solid, weighty, all metal construction and the pin is long enough for the digital thermostat to open and close the radiator valve as needed(no penny needed to bridge the gap as some have needed on rival products) so despite my bargain thermostat purchase needing this additional outlay (best laid plans etc) I can recommend this as the quickest way to upgrade your 28mm TRV screw threads to 30mm screw threads outside of just upgrading your entire radiator.

Did the job well, allowing me to fit a Hive rad valve to my older sized radiator. Still going strong a year on.

I need to change my old radiator thermostat by a new programmable thermostat (28 to 30 mm) , this item is exectely what I must have !!!

Easy fit, allowing older M28 TRV heads to be replaced with M30 smart heads.Solidly made, so far, so good.

Having read some of the positive reviews, particularly about using with Eqiva TRVs, I ordered 3 of these from Amazon.de - much cheaper than ordering from Amazon in the UK. They fit the TRV just fine; unfortunately the thread inside the adapter isn't long/deep enough to enable a secure fit to the thread on the radiator. As soon as I tightened the TRV onto the adapter it fell off the radiator. It look as if my only option is to update the valves to M30's.

What's not to love?
