You assemble it yourself but it’s dead easy and quick to do. The instructions are easy to follow and all the parts are illustrated well. Mine was delivered in the vendor’s original box and it had been damaged, one of the chrome tubes was dinted as a result which is annoying. That aside I’m happy with the night valet concept and it works well. I’ve only ever seen/used these in hotels, I intend to not leave clothes in a place where the cat can sit on them in the night. I’ve got this sat on new carpet, it’s not leaning over with the weight of clothes, the base is adequately heavy.
