**Q: Brewing gingerbeer in bucket.i want to add thisto kill any bacteria.but would it prime in the bottles when i decant from bucket?or is yeast killed?ty**
A: No it won’t kil the yeast. But  just wash the bottles out with is, don’t leave it in the bottles. We found it worked really well.

**Q: Does this kill bacteria? Also could it be added at the end of fermentation of ginger beer?**
A: Hello
Yes that is correct (Sodium Met kills bacteria) it can be used to make a sterilising solution or as a fermentation stopper, it is in fact campden tablets in a powder form. Careful with amounts when adding to wine, some very small measuring spoons would be handy if using to replace campden tablets.
