There is no scent until after the litter is used. ## Features - PREMIUM QUALITY: A combination of premium texture and granule size made with 100% bentonite clay for maximum clumping creates litter particles that are just the right size. - LOW DUST: Ideal for cats and owners who suffer from allergies with a 99.9% dust-free and hypoallergenic litter formulation. - HARD CLUMPING: Hard clumping medium grain clay helps prevent moisture from reaching the bottom of the tray and forms hard clumps that won't break down, making it easier to scoop. - LOW TRACKING: A unique formulation of medium grain clay helps keep litter in the box where it belongs. - MOISTURE-ACTIVATED SCENT: Formulated with a moisture-activated scent for superior odor control to keep your home smelling clean and fresh between litter box cleanings. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B005KSGWUY | | Best Sellers Rank | #113,999 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #621 in Cat Litter | | Brand | Dr. Elsey's | | Brand Name | Dr. Elsey's | | Capacity | 18.14 kg | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 8,221 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00000338005401 | | Included Components | Clumping Clay Litter | | Item Display Weight | 40 pounds | | Item Form | Granule | | Item Type Name | Cat Litter | | Item Weight | 18.14 kg | | Manufacturer | Dr. Elsey's Cat Products | | Manufacturer Part Number | 3022 | | Material | Clay | | Material Type | Clay | | Model Number | PRC00540 | | Package Size Name | 40 Lb | | Pet Type | Cat | | Scent | Fresh Scent | | Scent Name | Fresh Scent | | Target Species | Cat | | UPC | 000338005401 | | Unit Count | 640 Fluid Ounces | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Dr. Elsey's - **Capacity:** 18.14 Kilograms - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00000338005401 - **Item Weight:** 18.14 Kilograms - **Manufacturer:** Dr. Elsey's Cat Products - **Material:** Clay - **Scent:** Fresh Scent - **UPC:** 000338005401 - **Unit Count:** 640 Fluid Ounces - **Weight:** 40 Pounds ## Images ![Dr. Elsey's Ultra Scented Clumping Clay Multi-Cat Litter, 40 lbs. - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Vh+fsemsL.jpg) ![Dr. Elsey's Ultra Scented Clumping Clay Multi-Cat Litter, 40 lbs. - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71VmXdqF8xL.jpg) ![Dr. Elsey's Ultra Scented Clumping Clay Multi-Cat Litter, 40 lbs. - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Pw-D7PKNL.jpg) ![Dr. Elsey's Ultra Scented Clumping Clay Multi-Cat Litter, 40 lbs. - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71aYILzQuzL.jpg) ![Dr. Elsey's Ultra Scented Clumping Clay Multi-Cat Litter, 40 lbs. - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71vVEyOphhL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What does this litter smell like? Is it overwhelmingly perfumed?** A: It doesn't smell. It only releases the scent when wet but we could never smell anything. Personally I have bought every kind of Dr. Elsey's and found this one to be more dusty. We now use the regular unscented (blue bag). **Q: Is this product non tracking?** A: This is not low tracking at all. I'm having to sweep way more than with other litter. The hunt for a good one continues **Q: Can this litter be used with an automatic cleaning cat box?** A: I have a simply clean circular auto cat box for nearly ten years. I’ve tried nearly all major brand premium litters. Nothing works anywhere near as well as Dr Elseys. AND it’s far cheaper! **Q: is this septic tank safe?** A: After utilizing a septic tank on a farm for 30 years my suggestion no. I recommend you dispose of this or any litter it in the landfill or, curbside trash. ## Frequently Bought Together - Dr. Elsey's Premium Clumping Cat Litter | Ultra Scented | 99.9% Dust-Free, Low Tracking, Hard Clumping, Superior Odor Control, Natural Ingredients & Moisture-Activated Scent - Cat Attract Dr. Elsey's Litter, 9.08 kg - Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat Classic Premium Clumping Cat Litter, 40 lb Bag --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/5806709-dr-elseys-ultra-scented-clumping-clay-multi-cat-litter-40](https://www.desertcart.no/products/5806709-dr-elseys-ultra-scented-clumping-clay-multi-cat-litter-40) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
