## Description

We have designed our notebook very carefully – down to the last detail. The pages are numbered and there is an empty table of contents to make it easier for you to organise your notes. There are several perforated pages at the back of every notebook, in case you want to share a note with someone else. All books come with a set of self-adhesive labels which help you to archive them.

Review: Paper That Makes Writing Feel Special - I'm a huge fan of Leuchtturm notebooks, and I 100% think they're worth it. The color selection is beautiful and unique. The paper is one of my favorite things about them. It's so nice that it makes almost any pen perform well. Even a cheaper pen can feel and look better on this paper. I also love that the pages are off-white without looking yellow, which makes them perfect for journaling or sketching because you're not starting on a bright white page. It still looks awesome on the outside... and on the inside, well, there you'd find my private thoughts and artwork. I use this notebook exclusively with fountain pen inks... a variety of inks. Usually there's no bleed through. Occasionally there is. As an artist, my challenge is to make the bleed through situations into something beautiful. I find that to be a lot of fun... so am staying positive and not complaining. This is a great notebook for writing in. There's an index of several pages at the beginning, and the pages are numbered, so it is perfect for use as a bullet journal or writer's journal, or whatever you like. The pages seem kind of thin, but still good quality. I have other bullet journals with thicker pages. But it is what it is and either you like it for what it is or you don't. I would not hesitate to buy another journal like this one, when this is full. However - if I was to do it again, I wouldn't limit myself just to fountain pen ink in this journal. Probably there are other pens that would be better for this one, like the Staedtler Triplus Fineliner Pens which are bright and beautiful and will not bleed through. The endpapers are white... a sort of creamy white. Everything about this notebook journal speaks quality. I've used this as a travel journal, for recording quotes, and as a memoir journal, using a prompt book. I'm not using it for my daily observations of life, though it could be that type of journal if need be. I do a lot of ink painting in this journal. I use the same inks I put into my fountain pens - Noodlers Inks in a variety of colors, and De Atramentis® Document Ink . I've also used the Pilot Varsity Disposable Fountain Pens in this journal. It does well with all, but as you can imagine, if I put on the ink too thickly there's that risk of bleed through... so I've learned how much to use, and how much I can get away with layering it before the ink goes through the paper. It is a learning process. Recently I used a pen with a medium nib, and that bled through. Not good... and usually I use the extra-fine nibs which are better for preventing bleed through. Not a problem though - I turned the page and used the bleed-through page to create a bit of art using fountain pen ink applied by water brushes. I like the way it turned out even with the bleed through - it became part of the art. So, if you're looking for a good quality notebook with thin paper... numbered, with an index and pocket, this could be the right journal for you. I recommend it. I like all the colors, especially the berry pink which is so, so pretty. No complaints from me.

**Q: How many dots per page? one answer said 32 down and another was 39.  Neither addressed how many columns of dots.  Really hoping for 35+ x 25+.**
A: I bought an olive colored one two years ago and it had 38 dots from top to bottom on the page (making 37 rows). I bought a red one last year and it had 39 dots (38 rows). I bought an olive one again this year and it had 38 dots again. The index pages are also inconsistent.

**Q: Are the dots shown in the photo accurate? They seem very large, dark and with large spacing in the photo.**
A: It is an illustration, not a photo, and it is very inaccurate! I think it would be hard to show in an actual photo, especially in the small Amazon product picture size. The dots are very small, of a mid gray color. They are sufficiently visible to guide you if you want it, but not so pronounced that they inhibit use for a freehand sketch. Definitely designed by someone with a keen visual sense. I use mine for business notes and related sketches. I highly recommend this notebook!

**Q: Is 249 pages 498 writing pages?**
A: No, it is 125 pages, 249 writing pages.

**Q: How many lines are on each page?**
A: There are 32 lines. 31 of those lines writable, you can write on the 32nd line but it is at the bottom of the page. Lines are spaced about 1/4in or 6mm. Hope that helps.

I'm a huge fan of Leuchtturm notebooks, and I 100% think they're worth it. The color selection is beautiful and unique. The paper is one of my favorite things about them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My go-to bullet journal!

My go to journal for bullet journaling! I will not deviate. I've gone thru 7 of them and no other journal compares. Love the dotted pages, the page numbers, the perforated pages at the end of the journal, the pocket to hold misc things. While the price point is higher than others, the number of pages it provides does last me longer than a year. The color choices are also a plus.
