Review: Perfect Fit - We bought a house with a pool last year. This spring, we decided to change the sand in the filter. Well, the old sand turned out to be fine but some of the laterals were crushed and the center pipe was cracked. With desertcart Prime, this assembly arrived in two days, slipped perfectly into place and then we added the new sand. No problems encountered. In general, we're impressed by the availability of Hayward replacement parts and by their reasonable price. This octopus contraption is no exception. Well done, Hayward & desertcart!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How long is the center pipe? if it is 21in, that is too short. my old one is 28 inches yet i have s244t. what is the correct model?**
A: It is 28 inches and works in my filter which is 21 years old. If that helps

**Q: I have a sw256t. Will this work on there**
A: SEND AND ASK THEM AN e-MAIL TO hAYWARD.COM

**Q: Does this work with the hayward pro series s210t93s?**
A: The Hayward ProSeries model S210T uses the folding lateral assembly with center pipe # SX210DA if the filter tank was made 1997 or more recently.

**Q: will this fit an s244s?**
A: According to the Owners Guide that came with the sand filter when I bought it in 2003 or thereabouts, Yes. It will fitS-210T, S-220T and the S-244T. The bigest paid is removing all the sand and be sure to replace slowly and carefully so as not to damge the laterals.

Improved my filter performance

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for My S220T Filter
*by D***S on June 18, 2021*

I replaced the sand in my filter this year. Before I did, I order this because I knew I had at least one broke lateral (sand in the pool). I didn't know how extensive the damage was and a whole new assembly is relatively cheap. Plus, unlike my existing laterals, these fold up like an umbrella, making it easy to get in and out of the filter. It fit perfectly in my S220T Hayward and is of very good quality. The replacement went without a hitch.
