Do the edifier r1850db feature any mounting points or screw holes on the base for mounting to a speaker stand?

there are no mounting sockets or provision to affix a stand at all. They are classed as bookshelf speakers and have four rubber pads on the base to prevent damage to a shelf and aid stability. they are fairly heavy for their size and are made from quite thick veneered MDF? so may take 20mm screws if you wanted to attach a socket for a stand yourself, might invalidate the warranty though!

Can I connect these speakers to a mini hi fi unit so I can play cds through the speakers?

Yes this is possible using RCA/phono connectors into the speakers and selecting the input on the remote You would also need Audio Out sockets on the mini hi fit unit for the set up to work They're very nice speakers btw

What are the dimensions of the speakers? The answers here differ to that on the official website, mostly just interested in the height

Height: 25.8cm Width: 15.2cm Depth (including the connectors of the cables on the back: about 24cm
