It stays there and soaks up the blood.... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works but instructions poor *by R***P on 18 December 2022* This works very well, at least on relatively minor nosebleeds. Instructions only in French and the leaflet is very poor so it’s not clear if it should be wetted with saline before or after twisting — I suspect before but after works too. After opening the Coalgan bag by following the dotted lines, twist Coalgan to obtain a compact wick. Coalgan should be moistened only with a 0.9% NaCi solution (physiological serum) to facilitate its introduction into the nostril. Pinch nostrils for 10 min and leave in for 30 min & max 24hr. Provided it’s wetted it does not stick to the nostril.
