Leakage: Secure cap with no leaking issues. Taste: Authentic smoky flavor that enhances meats, sauces, and marinades beautifully. A must-have pantry staple for adding great smoke flavor without firing up the grill. Review: Really Great Taste! - I love smoked meals. I used to eat a lot of smoked meats, but since I kept getting sick from eating meat a few years ago, I needed to find alternatives. I never thought I would, but I turned to plant based meats. While these do mimick the taste of real meat quite well, one thing I've noticed is that most of the plant based meats aren't smoked. I ordered this liquid smoke to add to some of my plant based meat recipes as well as some other foods. It really gives it a nice kick, it has such a strong smoky taste! I add this to my plant based tacos, burgers, ham, as well as to eggs, mashed potatoes, stuffing, quiche, macaroni and cheese and more. This is the best liquid smoke I've tried! Highly HIGHLY recommend trying! ## Features - Gluten free ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0005Z8NCM | | Allergen Information | Gluten Free | | Best Sellers Rank | #107,432 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ( See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ) #545 in Barbecue Sauces | | Brand | Colgin | | Brand Name | Colgin | | Color | brown | | Container Type | Bottle | | Cuisine | American cuisine | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 4,928 Reviews | | Diet Type | Vegan | | Flavor | Hickory | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00071053000019 | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Package Weight | 0.15 kg | | Item Type Name | food | | Item Weight | 4 ounces | | Manufacturer | Colgin | | Model Number | 71053000019 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Package Information | Bottle | | Package Size Name | 4 Ounce | | Part Number | 71053000019 | | Size | 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) | | Specialty | Gluten Free | | UPC | 071053000019 | | Unit Count | 4 Fluid Ounces | ## Product Details - **Allergen Information:** Gluten Free - **Brand:** Colgin - **Flavor:** Hickory - **Item Weight:** 4 ounces - **Package Information:** Bottle ## Images ![Liquid Smoke, Natural Hickory, 4-Ounce - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61sIcp93M4L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this product vegan/vegetarian?** A: Yes, there is no animal byproduct. My husband is a vegetarian and that's why I bought these so I could have the smoked flavor without the meat. **Q: Is this kosher certified?** A: Yes. It has a k inside of a D and is parve **Q: Do you have to put it in the refrigirator after opening? Guess not since it's just water but who knows.. Can it sustain +90F temperatures?** A: I don't use this brand because it's awful. I use Wrights and keep it in the kitchen cabinet. I don't think 90 degrees would affect it but if you are worried, put it in the fridge. I've never had any problem with any liquid smoke kept in a cabinet. Read the reviews about this stuff before buying please - it just doesn't impart a real smoke flavor. **Q: What is "natural smoke flavor" and what are the ingredients of that?** A: It is Natural Hickory Flavor. Below is the ingredients list from the bottleWater, Natural Hickory Smoke Flavor, Vinegar, Molasses, Caramel Color and Salt ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Smoky Flavor With Just a Few Drops *by E***S on December 27, 2025* Consistency: Smooth liquid that mixes easily into recipes. I like the fact that I can add a few drops to soups, or any other food that I may wish, and it tastes wonderful! Almost as good as having a smoker… But a lot less expensive. ## Frequently Bought Together - COLGIN LIQUID SMOKE NATURAL HICKORY FLAVOUR 1 x 118 ml BOTTLE AMERICAN IMPORT - Stubb'S | Hickory Liquid Smoke | 1 x 148ml - Colgin Liquid Smoke Natural Hickory 472 ml --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/5758497-liquid-smoke-natural-hickory-4-ounce](https://www.desertcart.no/products/5758497-liquid-smoke-natural-hickory-4-ounce) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
