One comment mentioned 'paper' - is it something like sandpaper? If so, are replacements available?** A: I removed the abrasives that came with it, and cut replacements from a sheet of 220 grit sandpaper for the course, and 600 grit for the fine; then just attached them using a removable adhesive. I did need to cut the discs slightly being that the surface to which they are applied is tilted. This allows one to use it heavily and not worry about wearing out the abrasives. **Q: Descripiton states it's a sharpener. I am very happy with this purchase and seller! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth buying to save some money and get to use old blades for longer *by A***D on October 16, 2025* I cut a lot of material and rotary blades are expensive so I wanted to try to revive the dull blades I had before buying more. This sharpener is quite pricy for a couple of pieces of plastic and I was dubious about how well it would work but was pleasantly surprised that it sharpened my blades pretty well and pretty quickly. It comes in different sizes so be sure to order the one that fits your blades. Instruction wise, 4 stars, as it wasn’t all that clear from the instructions on the packaging but I was able to find a video online and followed that. The plastic seems like it will be pretty durable and it remains to be seen how long the grit will last for, but so far my friend and I have sharpened several blades - not getting a “new” blade feel but pretty good - it wears down the edges to create a sharp edge so I’m assuming there will be a limit to how many times you can sharpen one blade?
