Each picture book in this series is a biography of a significant historical figure, told in a simple, conversational, vivacious way, and always focusing on a character trait that made the person heroic. The heros are depicted as children throughout, telling their life stories in first-person present tense, which keeps the books playful and accessible to young children. And each book ends with a line of encouragement, a direct quote, and photos on the last page. This biography focuses on Albert Einstein's never-ending curiosity and how it helped him be a better scientist. This friendly, fun biography series inspired the PBS Kids TV show Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum. One great role model at a time, these books encourage kids to dream big. Included in each book are: • A timeline of key events in the hero’s history • Photos that bring the story more fully to life • Comic-book-style illustrations that are irresistibly adorable • Childhood moments that influenced the hero • Facts that make great conversation-starters • A virtue this person embodies: Albert Einstein's curiosity led him to become a world-renowned scientist. You’ll want to collect each book in this dynamic, informative series! Review: Love these books - Ordinary people change the world are very informative for young children and the illustrations are well done. Review: Can't say enough great things about this book. - As soon as I saw that this book was being released I had to buy it for my 6 year old son. Personally I think it's important to have kids learn about real people who did amazing things and this book does it in such a fun and kid friendly way. My son has the craziest imagination and is always thinking about creating and inventing new things so this was right up his alley. One of the things my son really got a kick out of from this book was the fun and colorful pictures and Einstein's mustache! He thought it was hilarious that even as a baby Einstein had a mustache! But overall we love this book and I plan on buying more books from Brad Meltzer, if his other children's books are as educational and fun as this one then we can't go wrong. I definitely recommend this for younger children because it encourages them to think, dream, and know that they can change the world. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #17,086 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #17 in Children's Science & Technology Biographies #21 in Children's Historical Biographies (Books) #21 in Children's Physics Books (Books) | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 724 Reviews | ## Images ![I am Albert Einstein (Ordinary People Change the World) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81M4ejzfV0L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Media Format** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love these books *by B***A on July 30, 2026* Ordinary people change the world are very informative for young children and the illustrations are well done. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't say enough great things about this book. *by S***I on October 6, 2014* As soon as I saw that this book was being released I had to buy it for my 6 year old son. Accessible, fun, and, I think, providing surprising insight into an inquisitive mind *by E***E on December 11, 2015* I really, really like this book and have recommended it to many friends. First, I love the I Am... historical biography series. We own all of them and I think the series is excellent and I wish there were more. I loved the focus in this book on the importance of curiosity and inquisitiveness in Einstein's life, and how the series highlighted how certain influences, like exposure to a medical student who was staying at his home, proved important factors. My only possible complaint -- while I love how the book makes Einstein accessible and interesting, it takes some liberties. Now, whenever we encounted Einstein, my son yells, "that's the guy who screams 'I LOVE MY HAIR!!!!'" which, while funny, perhaps made too much of an impression. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/5683301-i-am-albert-einstein-ordinary-people-change-the-world](https://www.desertcart.no/products/5683301-i-am-albert-einstein-ordinary-people-change-the-world) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
