Is this a ripstop garment?

I think it is. There's no mention of ripstop on the item description, but when I look closely at the material I can see that familiar grid pattern of ripstop.

Does the hood zip off this jacket

The hood is not zipped and cannot be removed from the jacket.

Is there an Inside pocket

No. Only two zip pockets either side of the jacket.
