Pet Grooming Scissors Set - Round Tip Shears for Dogs & Cats

I have a Maine coon with thick knots. These are amazing. I have to trick my cat to clip. It’s a slow process because he knows. But gradually I am getting them done. The scissors don’t cut his skin and I feel comfortable using them. I tried the razor and just the sound made him runaway. Highly recommend these.

Was surprised how well these worked. I'm kind of clumsy and my cat's persnickety so I had real doubts about whether these would work to get out rather massive mat of fur on her back. I had tired other scissors that weren't strong enough to make a dent. However, while these don't look that strong they really do work and totally safely. It didn't seem to hurt her in any way, but since she only was still for short periods in letting me do it, I did it very gradually a bit a day, but after about 10 days it was totally gone. She's a very furry Maine coon looking cat and her under hair and top hair just seemed to have gotten totally matted on much of her back. The best part was I never felt nervous or that I was in any way endangering her as I might with other scissors, and she didn't seem to feel anything. If I gave her treats and she was focussed on that , she didn't even seem to notice I was cutting. If she were overall a calmer cat I probably could have done it all in much shorter time. I do recommend these.

I didn't think these scissors were very sharp, but they are and the blunt ends are so helpful. These scissors were a life saver for me. My cat got bit by another animal and had stopped grooming himself. He had about 10 or 12 fur mats and I couldn't get him to go to the vet. I was able to remove some of them with olive oil, but there were a couple that were very large and I needed to cut them. My only complaint is that I wish I could have just ordered one pair, because I won't ever use the bigger scissors.

Works great. I trimmed my cat who has very thick hair and I had no problem. Scissors are very sharp and I like the blunt ends.

Sturdy, sharp, good weight, quality grooming scissors and I like that they come paired in two different sizes. Nice grip making easy to use. Rounded tips for safety always a plus. Great value for the money
