Psoriasin Deep Moisturizing Ointment - 2% Coal Tar - Stops Psoriasis Itching, Scaling, Redness - 4.2 oz

I was diagnosed with psoriasis over 35 years ago. The thousands of dollars my family spent on ridiculous treatments that didn't work was a real disappointment, but we didn't know any better and had to try something. This is the best stuff I've used so far for my moderate affliction. Use at your own risk. I put it on when my skin was DRY. I've used other products that say DO NOT apply to wet skin. I've got areas on my arms and legs and around my waist that are bad. I've seen other people who have this crap all over their entire body. I truly feel sorry for myself, but I feel even worse for the people who have it worse than me. I used this product for 4 days straight about 4x a day, and my flakes are gone. It's still red where the flakes were, but it's "smooth" skin now and it doesn't itch. I have stopped using it completely as a test to see how long it will take for the flakes and itchiness to come back. The only thing I can think of that I really don't like is the smell--the smell is really strong, in my opinion, BUT IT'S WORTH IT TO ME. The product is also a bit greasy/oily until it soaks it, but again IT'S WORTH IT TO ME. Based on my initial use, I must give this product 5 stars. If I have any future problems with or change my mind about this product, I will report back.

I started developing psoriasis on my legs about 15 years ago and lived with it for about 13 of those years. During the later years, it began spreading to my lower arms and back. If I wore shorts, people would look at my legs. I even had a salesperson at a bed store ask if it was contagious - not a great feeling. I had tried Psoriasin sometime in the early years, but not consistently, so didn't see results. In the meantime, I tried everything else: * Light therapy - basically creates an artificial sunburn and your skin peels off, but psoriasis quickly returns. * Colon hydrotherapy (somewhat helped actually, plus I eliminated meat consumption. For more on this, read up about "leaky gut" and its effect on skin.) * Prescription topical creams - basically, a chemically induced sunburn, peeling skin, with no lasting effect. Nothing really worked. About 18 months ago, I read the reviews about Psoriasin again and decided to try again, this time committing myself to regular use. I put it on in the morning, without fail. Yes, there's a slight smell and greasy texture to it, but I got accustomed to it. And inside a month, I could start seeing a difference. In about 3 months my psoriasis was completely gone. It was miraculous. Now I am in maintenance mode and put it on about once per week. It's not glamorous, but this stuff works - IF you use it religiously for an extended period. I highly recommend it.

I've had plaque psoriasis for 15 years and have never found anything that works well (besides sunshine). This ointment works better than clobetasol for me, without the dryness and expense. I use it once daily after showering, and my lesions have become smooth instead of scaly; less red; and less itchy. I bet if I used it twice a day I'd get better results. No way around it, the smell is strong, but it subsides after a few minutes. I haven't noticed it staining my clothes. Glad I tried it.

I've had psoriasis since I was 17. It's been treated by dermatologists through the years but continues to return. I'm 51yrs old now have 5 children and struggle with maintaining my psoriasis. I don't have time to visit the doctor and the cream & ointments only work for a short time. I decided to try this ointment it reminded me of one I've tried before and know that tar would help my skin. I ordered 2 and began applying it on 2/13/22. It's been a month now and I must say it's clearing up. I had my daughter take pictures before I applied it and I will continue to check on the progress. So far so good, my arms and legs were covered and some on my back and stomach area. I was unable to wear short sleeve clothes during the summer heat 😩. I'm hoping this summer I can go swimming in a swimsuit. So far most of my stomach area is clear and arms. I'm still working on my upper legs/thighs but they have lightened up. This ointment will hopefully allow me to have a joyful summer. Only a month and I'm impressed how it's working. It's worth it!!! Once I get my pics organized I hope I can post them.

Seller was responsive to shipping issues and item arrived sooner than expected. However, I see no difference with using this in conjunction with salicylic acid cream. Will keep using and hope for the best. Only topical product I have used during my 20 years of psoriasis that has actually worked is Duobrii. Unfortunately there is no generic and it costs over a thousand dollars a tube and I cannot afford that, even with a GoodRX coupon.

Works great for psoriasis plaques! I have nickel sized plaques around my body. Ive been applying the ointment for 3 weeks now nightly and some long lasting plaques have begun to heal and return to normal skin. I also apply a urea moisturizing cream soothe and descale the plaques in the morning. This combo is very effective. Totally reccommed this product.

In winter, my hands get so dry... with the indoor heat, washing, working in the greenhouse, etc.... my hand & finger tips, especially, get red, rough, & the unbearable cracks get so deep & so painful that even puting my hands in my purse to grab a brush, God forbid hitting the brissels with those monster gashes, would send me to the ceiling in pain... regular creams slathered on did very little, I'd resort adding a antibiotic on bandages & wraping my sore digits. New fashon statement? Years of suffering asking doctors (really??!🤨🙄) about the problem, was equally frustrating.... Until..Ta-Da, a girlfriend handed me her nearly empty jar of Psoriasin.... 🌤🌞Halaluya🕊🍾🥂!!! The sky opened up...a ray of light... I kid you not!... It worked almost immedietly! The painful wounds started closing in a couple of days & I haven't looked at anyother moisturizer for my hands & feet. Now, I tryed the Psoriasin evaporating cream, but... big butt... the alcohol defeats the purpose & I had to add the ointment to delute the alcohol. I suggest warming the ointment just a little & suck it up adding into the tube of the Psoriasin cream. Still vanishes, but that alcohal was just as wretchedly painful as that bloody brush in my purse.😭 So, why look anywhere else, And, by the way, why didn't the doctors dignose this? Oh, I had to find a bleeding finger tip doctor?😐

I’ve never left a review on Amazon- but this product blew me away. Age 24 I’ve started getting those large psoriasis patches on my shins in the winter- raw, itchy, red, flaking. So bad that I stopped wearing skirts & dresses to work- not even tights could totally camouflage the spots. After a week of using this product, my shins look like they have nearly-gone bruises, and only if I myself look closely. Even after one night (I use overnight), I saw a huge difference. No other product has worked for me, let alone this well, & I thought I’d be suffering and using Aquaphor helplessly until winter ended. The smell is weird but tolerable & fades fast, heads up though the Psoriasin is dark yellow in color! Might stain clothes. I use at night & wear long socks to avoid it rubbing off. Miracle product, absolutely recommend!!

This is an opportunity to write to all of you guys who suffers from psoriasis All of these products, moisturizers, creams, public made mixtures, and shampoos contains the only one item that can cure psoriasis, look for it in the ingredients, it’s the COAL TAR SOLUTION, yes, and it is the only proven substance that cures psoriasis. Do your own research!! It is there in all of the products you tried, but with a very low or minimal concentration. Even here in PSORIASIN , it’s among the ingredients.. I was using DIVOBET, the strongest ointment for cleaning the skin affected areas for 2 days, rest of the week, start applying the coal tar solution on DAILY BASIS, NON STOP, again 2 days for DIVOBET, then continue and so on. Depends on the flakes size you have , you need to continue using DIVOBET till you see that flakes are almost peeled and gone, and here you go .. Now, PSORIASIN was purchased from AMAZON, can’t say it’s bad, but it’s not super or the final medicine to cure and treat psoriasis, it is as I said and explained, supporting cream that helps, and it really helps, you need this item to support your treatment as explained above, or DIVOBET also both together will be super excellent, they work well and prepare your skin as well for applying the solution. It will stop flakes to get worse, it soothing the skin, it stop itching and scaling as it says in the description, it does what it says in the description clearly!! Once your skin is prepared, you need to source out the coal tar solution!! I can’t tell you specific online shop, but it’s not easy honestly.. Finally, during the medication, stop using any chemical products, like bath soap or bath shampoo, use organic natural products and try to keep your skin always moisturized.. The secret here is to use COCONUT oil, not for cooking, but for the skin.. Don’t rub or scratch your skin be careful, and don’t try to peel dead skin layers that are peeled , you will make things worse, and it will cause infection. Let the skin gets treated by itself as it takes almost 28 days for the human cells to reborn and re structure. Take a bath in the morning after 8 hours minimum of coal tar stays on your skin and gently use ARABIC LOFA with Moroccan soap or natural soap , while taking a bath , flakes are peeled easily without external force. After some time mix the coconut oil with some of the salicylic acid to get your skin whiter if you want, it is also very important item in your treatment. salicylic acid can be found on AMAZON , use just a tea spoon over 100 ml of coconut oil , dont put much , its very harsh on the skin.. Do your own research , and I guarantee you that you will get back to normal in 2 months’ time, maybe less, depends on how sever is your condition.. The above treatment was first founded - introduced in IRAQ , and practiced till now days with a VERY GOOD RESULTS ,and its commonly used in Morocco and other places , where they have the coal tar solution, and you can see so many videos on you tube describing the treatment. COAL TAR SOLUTION is annoying and has a very bad smell makes you dizzy or you may get headaches , but after seeing the results you will wish to sink your complete body in tar bath tub full of it :) You may apply mint oil or coconut oil over the coal tar solution on your body , to just reduce the smell , it helps a lot.. You need to stand it , there is no other way , once you think how bad is the psoriasis, and what was your condition earlier , the compromise is really worth it ..No more shy once you get off your clothes , go to the pool , do some massage , and your comfort is guaranteed..
