Might provide a false sense of security, but it is comfortable, fits great without interference, looks dorky (who cares) and seems well made thus far. Also use it when buddies offer rides in their UTVs, and with an actual motorsports helmet the security is even more evident. So for the price, it makes for much more enjoyable trips out in the dirt.
