What is the difference between the single-blade nippers and the double-blades nippers?

The single-blade nipper means that one side is the blade and the other side is the blunt side, like a knife and a chopping board, The double-blades nipper means that both sides are the blade.

Should I choose double-edged pliers or single-edged pliers?

It depends on our needs and budget. Generally speaking, double-edged pliers and single-edged pliers(for beginners) are suitable for the first cut (cutting runners or big objects), and ultra-thin single-edged pliers are suitable for the second cut.
