However, I did have one break on me, so I thought I'd try an alternative. These little rubber gaskets work very well. The instrument is secure; the whole point this exercise. It is a 2-step process to remove the strap block and then the strap, but no big deal when you're only paying a few bucks for the item. The little pull tabs make the removal process much easier.
