## Description

T&T Tools Handy Hook Lifting Tool – 76.2cm (30”) Long Steel Pump Hook – 9.5mm Pump Hook End – Standard Duty Lifting Hooks, Lift Manhole Covers – Manhole Key for Moving, Lifting & Pulling : desertcart.co.uk: DIY & Tools

## Features

- MANHOLE LIFTING TOOL THAT REDUCES STRAIN ON BACK: Use our T&T Tools handy hook to open and lift manhole covers, grates and storm or sewer drains with ease. Bending to lift manhole or drain covers can hurt your back as they are usually made of heavy cast iron and lifting this can be repetitive and draining. Our hook-lifting tool takes the strain off your arms and back and is especially good for taller people or those with limited mobility when bending or lifting.
- STOP PREVENTIBLE LIFTING ACCIDENTS: A typical manhole in the UK can easily weigh up to 100kg. The long 76.2cm (30”) length of our lid lifting hook ensures you stay in tip-top condition for the workday ahead, giving you extra clearance away from the hole and cover compared to standard manhole tools. The long hook tool helps prevent damaging your hands, fingers and toes from the heavy weight of dropping a manhole cover.
- HOW TO USE THIS LEVER: Insert the hook into the manhole, with the hook point facing upwards. Stand to the side of the manhole. Lift the handle slightly upwards to make the near edge of the cover clear the edge and drag backwards using your legs. Take extra care with square and rectangular grate covers as they can fall into holes. Use the hook tool to reposition the cover safely, hooking and unhooking carefully while staying aware of pinch points.
- VERSATILE LIFTING TOOL: The standard duty Handy Hooks are recommended for light to moderate loads, as a general-purpose hook. You can use this hook to pull skids in trucks, move portable toilets as well as drag any heavy gardening materials, plants and more in the garage at home or in an industrial setting. The bright yellow handle and blue body of the hook make this easy to spot and hard to lose.
- MAKING MAINTENANCE JOBS SAFER SINCE 1992: With over 30 years of manufacturing products for the maintenance sector, T&T Tools offer a range of practical and smart solutions for outdoor maintenance, lifting and protection devices such as our range of handy hooks for grates, manholes or drains as well as our award-winning Mighty Probe tools to locate underground pipes and septic tanks. Built for the UK, made in the USA.
