## Description

For years now the Alpha gel has been famous for its squishy, soft gel grip. All those other "comfy" grips seem like hard rubber compared to this one. Squeeze it and it'll bring an instant "Oooooooo" to your lips. It's the same gel that's famous for keeping an egg from breaking even when dropped from a 5ft height. Uni has realized the popular appeal of its gel grips and has now adopted it for its Jetstream line in Japan. Many of our customers will be ecstatic because they have always wanted the liquidly soft Alpha gel grip combined with a superior writing performance such as that from the Uni-Ball Jetstream. Jetstream is popular both in the US and overseas for its smooth writing, dark lines, and smear resistant technology. The body for these pens is made of brushed metal. When held to the light you will find a textured look on the metal, giving it an almost wood-like appeal. Silver, black, and pink body colors are available.

Review: Best pen I've ever used! - I love uniball pens and recently tried their Jetstream line. While I love the smoothness and quick dry time of the ballpoint, the original jetstream has a hard plastic body that starts to hurt my fingers after writing for a while. That's not the pen's fault, it's just my older joints aren't what they used to be. That's when I heard that Uniball made the Uni Alpha Gel Jetstream, that incorporates an ergonomic gel grip with the same great ink formula. This doesn't seem to be something that you can buy in stores, at least not in the US. (The packaging is in Japanese so I'm just making an assumption). So I was happy to see desertcart carried it and decided to give it a try. I am so happy with this pen. The painful grip issue is completely fixed with this gel grip design. The grip is soft as a gummi bear and just as nice to touch. The body is also metal, making it much sturdier than the old plastic body design. It is a little heavier than the original Jetstream, but not by much. I don't find it bothersome with long writing sessions at all. If you aren't a ballpoint pen fan I have good news! This pen can seamlessly use a Uniball Zento refill for all the gel pen lovers out there. (The pen is 0.7mm pen tip size in case you were wondering.) This is truly a great pen, versatile enough to use other refills, easy to hold and comfortable enough to use for hours of note taking. I also really appreciate the way the pen's designed, it's stylish and smart looking for any setting. It comes in other colors too if silver/white isn't your style. I'm ordering another one right now, because I want an entire pen cup full of these pens!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth the money
*by .***. on June 30, 2026*

Comfortable, lightweight, ink isnt as pigmented as I've had with other pens but quality of ink is satisfactory especially in light of how it excels in all other areas. I write pages of notes while studying and this pen saves my hand.
