I want to use this to pulg my hard drive and my wireless headphones that use a usb Transmitter. Will this work ?** A: Please note that since the hub is not powered via an external adapter it draws all its power from the computer's USB port. Therefore the current cannot exceed 0.9 Amps among all the ports. To ensure a stable connection, we would suggest not using this hub with high power consumption devices such as large-capacity hard drives. For a stable connection, avoid connecting devices that exceed a total of 900 mA. Devices are usually rated as follows: Mouse 100 mA USB Flash Drive 100 mA Camera 300 mA Keyboard 500 mA External Hard Drive 900 mA **Q: Can this be used with 2.0** A: Simple answer: yes. More detailed answer: If you plug this hub into a USB 2.0 port on your PC it will function just fine as a USB 2.0 hub (not USB 3.0). If you plug this into a USB 3.0 port on your PC you can plug both USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 devices in and they will work correctly (USB 3.0 devices will work as 3.0 devices at the higher USB 3.0 speed; USB 2.0 devices will work as 2.0 devices at the lower USB 2.0 speed). Considering the price, size, and quality of this hub, I'd recommend buying this over a USB 2.0 hub even if you only intend to use it with USB 2.0 ports and devices -- it's only a few dollars more. **Q: Does the cheap model that doesn't come with external power source have a USB plug for adding wall power?** A: For those who might be unaware, some USB devices require a powered USB hub. So it's not that this hub doesn't require external power, but that it doesn't offer it as an option and therefore supports fewer devices. **Q: Does it work well with apple charging cables, does it charge fast?** A: It charges my devices just fine. It's just not a fast charger. I can have my android watch, fitbit, and logitech gaming headset charging at the same time and they all charge just fine though. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great for multiple USB devices *by on Reviewed in the United States March 16, 2026* I am not technically inclined at all and I can use this so that's saying a lot for how easy this is. So ready to connect everything. We have to take our laptop, mouse, keyboard, headset into the office twice a week and this device makes that so much easier. Also great and compact for travel and the best is that it keeps all the dongles together so I don't lose them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend! Wish I would have purchased sooner. *by on Reviewed in the United States September 9, 2026* Works great. Fast delivery to my hotel saved the day. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Convenient USB-C Hub *by on Reviewed in the United States August 29, 2026* I bought this for my work laptop so that I have the flexibility to plug in a USB to save documents and attach a wireless mouse. I appreciate that it has a long enough cord to be out of the way, but it is slim enough to conveniently pack in my work bag. It works great and allows for several devices to be plugged in at the same time. ## Frequently Bought Together - Anker 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub with 5Gbps Data Transfer, Ultra-Slim Data USB C Hub [Charging Not Supported], for MacBook, iMac, Surface, Mobile HDD, and More(USB-C, 2 ft) - Anker USB C Adapter (2 Pack),High-Speed Data Transfer, USB-C to USB 3.0 Female Adapter for MacBook Pro 2020, iPad Pro 2020, Samsung Notebook 9, Dell XPS and More Type C Devices - Anker USB C Hub, 5-in-1 USBC to HDMI Splitter with 4K Display, 1 x Powered USB-C 5Gbps & 2×Powered USB-A 3.0 5Gbps Data Ports for MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Dell and More --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/553041264-usb-c-hub-usb-extender-4-in-1-usb-splitter](https://www.desertcart.no/products/553041264-usb-c-hub-usb-extender-4-in-1-usb-splitter) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
