I would not class this as a toy being that it contains needles even though it has a safety hood and lockable, you can still get pricked by the needles if used improperly. It may be suitable for older children 13+ but this depends on the child and if as a parent you are confident that they will practice safety when using it. Even as an adult I can sometimes stab myself if my attention is distracted. Therefore I will be selecting not suitable for children in general this has to be at the parents discretion and certainly I would not class as a toy. ## Features - Warning:Not suitable for children under 36 months - Warning:Only for domestic use - Warning:To be used under the direct supervision of an adult - No thread or glue needed - Clover needle Felting Tool has five barbed needle s that catches the wool roving fibres - The wool roving fibres stay permanently without using glue or sewing it - The tool comes with a clear lock cover for the safety of storage - Needle felting tool ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000WV5ZCK | | Best Sellers Rank | 88,024 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 147 in Hand Sewing Needles | | Brand | Clover | | Brand Name | Clover | | Colour | Green | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,202 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00051221557309 | | Item Length | 1.56 Inches | | Item Type Name | Felting Needle Tool | | Item Weight | 0.01 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Clover | | Manufacturer Part Number | 8900 | | Material | Metal | | Material Type | Metal | | Model Number | 8900 | | Point Type | Sharp | | Point type | Sharp | | Recommended Uses For Product | Needle felting | | Recommended uses for product | Needle felting | | UPC | 051221557309 046973997534 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Unit count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Clover - **Colour:** Green - **Material:** Metal - **Point type:** Sharp - **Recommended uses for product:** Needle felting ## Images ![Felting Needle Tool, Green, 1 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71GD5flwR3L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How many needles are there? (One would think the ad or the packaging would say.)** A: It has 5 needles. 2 on each side and one in the middle. **Q: What gauge are the needles?** A: There are fine and heavy refill needles that are available for this item. The fine needles are included with this item. Here is a link to the heavy needle refill: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WZ1SUY/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me= **Q: Why won't Amazon send this to my address?** A: You will need to contact Amazon directly to see why, sellers cannot see your address until an order actually comes through. It could be as simple as a typo in the address or if you are trying to have something shipped overseas by a seller who doesn't ship internationally. Hope this helps and good luck! **Q: Does the tool take only the Clover brand replace needles? Thanks.** A: It would be best to use the Clover brand, but you may be able to use others. Unfortunately, we have not tested other brands to see if they will or will not work. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clover *by A***E on 28 May 2026* Good tool better than cheaper ones ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as expected *by A***R on 29 August 2026* Great buy, I use it everytime at the start of a felting project.
