Never outsourced, never rushed, always made in the USA. - [Why Choose Polkadog]: We started in Boston in 2002 because of a one-eyed rescue dog named Pearl and a belief that dogs deserve better. Two decades later we still make our treats by hand in small batches, source locally and ethically, and give back 1% of cod skin sales through 1% for the Planet. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00GIUWIM4 | | ASIN | B00GIUWIM4 | | Additional Features | Handmade in the USA, Supports Small-Boat Fisherment & Environment, Wild Caught, Single Ingredient | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Allergen Information | Gluten Free, Hypoallergenic | | Animal Food Diet Type | Limited Ingredient | | Animal Food Ingredient Claim | Additive-Free, No Artificial Colors, No Artificial Flavors, Wild-Caught | | Animal Food Nutrient Content Claim | High Protein, Low Fat | | Best Sellers Rank | #3,931 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #59 in Dog Jerky Treats | | Brand Name | Polkadog | | Breed Recommendation | All Breed Sizes | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (3,059) | | Date First Available | January 29, 2013 | | Dog Breed Size | All | | Flavor | Seafood | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00895879002480 | | Included Components | Cod Skins Bag | | Item Form | Stick | | Item Weight | 2 pounds | | Item model number | BLKBBFS2 | | Manufacturer | Polka Dog Bakery | | Manufacturer | Polka Dog Bakery | | Manufacturer Part Number | BLKBBFS2 | | Model Number | BLKBBFS2 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Birthday | | Package Size Name | 2 Pound Pack | | Pet Type | Dog | | Product Benefits | High Protein, Crunchy Texture | | Product Dimensions | 15 x 8 x 10 inches; 2 pounds | | Recommended Uses For Product | Dog Training, High-Value Treats, Healthy Snacks, Daily Rewards, All Breeds, All Sizes, All Ages, Puppy, Senior | | Special Ingredients | all-natural | | Specific Uses For Product | Allergy Relief | | Target Species | Dog | | UPC | 895879002480 | | Unit Count | 32 Ounce | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** Polkadog - **Flavor:** Seafood - **Item Form:** Stick - **Specific Uses For Product:** Allergy Relief ## Images ![Polkadog Cod Skins for Dogs (2lb Regular), Single Ingredient, Made in USA - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71We6e4JAIL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Are Polkadog Cod Skins good for dental health?** A: Yes. The crunchy texture of Polkadog Cod Skins can help support cleaner teeth by gently scraping plaque while your dog chews. They’re also a simple, natural alternative to heavily processed rawhide chews. **Q: Are Polkadog Cod Skins dog treats good for sensitive stomachs?** A: Many pet parents choose Polkadog Cod Skins for dogs with food sensitivities because they contain just one ingredient: dehydrated wild-caught cod skin. They’re also grain-free and easy to break into smaller pieces for dogs of different sizes. **Q: Do Polkadog Cod Skins smell fishy?** A: Since these treats are made from real cod skins, they do have a natural fish scent — dogs usually go crazy for it. Compared to many fish-based dog treats, the smell is generally milder and less greasy because the skins are slowly dehydrated. **Q: Are Polkadog Cod Skins better than rawhide for dogs?** A: Many dog owners use cod skin chews as a natural alternative to rawhide because they’re highly digestible and made with fewer ingredients. Polkadog Cod Skins are simply dehydrated cod skins with no artificial preservatives or fillers. ## Frequently Bought Together - Polkadog Crunchy Cod Skins Dog Sticks - Cod Skins Treats for Dogs - All-Natural Pet, Dog Treats - Savory, Healthy Fish-Skin Puppy Treat - Alaskan Treats for Pets - 2 lb. - PLATO Pet Treats Fish Dog Treats - Air-Dried, Single Ingredient Dog Treat - with Omega 3 & 6 Fatty Acids to Support Skin and Coat - 100% Whole Fish - Wild Caught Baltic Herring Dog Treats - 8.5 oz - Vital Essentials Freeze Dried Raw Single Ingredient Dog Treats, Minnows, 2.5 oz | Premium Quality High Protein Training Treats | Grain Free, Gluten Free, Filler Free --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/5492357-polkadog-cod-skins-for-dogs-2lb-regular-single-ingredient-made](https://www.desertcart.no/products/5492357-polkadog-cod-skins-for-dogs-2lb-regular-single-ingredient-made) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
