On my 6900xt, the junction temp barely hits 80, and the average temp is in the cool 60s. I will say, do yourself a favor and just buy two. You may be able to get away with just the one if you go 1.5mm, I got the 1mm and I used up almost both packages. The 1mm ended up being too thin so I folded over what I could. and it seems to be working very well. You should probably wear gloves while handling it, as the oils from your hands might effect your temps but I did it bare handed and my temps look pretty good. This will be my go to.
