Our 65lb bully pitty mix pup gets anxious and has a hard time keeping her balance during car rides. We decided to give this seat extender a try to give her a larger and more flat surface in the back of our Mazda3 sedan with bucket seats. We chose this one due to the great reviews and the higher weight capacity compared to some of the lesser expensive options. We tried it for the first time today and were surprised by how easy it was to install and how well it fit in the car. We were also shocked to see the drastic difference in our pup's behavior during the ride. Before using this seat extender, one of us had to ride in the back with her to try to comfort her during rides, and she still wouldn't sit down. Today with this seat extender, she actually stayed sittting down in the back by herself for most of the ride. While she was still panting and drooling, this was a huge improvement for her. This seat extender is sturdy and stayed put while she sat in the middle of the backseat up towards the back of the middle console, making the ride safer for us both. I'm really happy with this purchase and look forward to less stressful car rides for us both.

My dogs love this! Fits in my Subaru crosstrek and it’s very sturdy. It can be a little slippery but we have another cushion that goes over it and it prevents my dogs from slipping. Easy install, very easy to clean and worth the $

If your furry baby has trouble traveling with you this is a MUST TRY. We were skeptical, but after first use we were sold. This works. After all the car sickness, drooling, and restlessness this was a very welcomed find. Great fit, well constructed, and easy install and upkeep. And we got it all for much less than many of their competitors. Glad we got this.

Good quality, sturdy design with a couple needed improvements. Would be better if the bottom was a single solid piece to make sturdier and straps that attach to headrests could be more adjustable. Installed in my 2022 GMC Yukon, install was simple but would have been better with above improvements.

This has been one of the best purchases I've made for my bulldog. I have a Nissan Rogue and my husband has a Chevy Equinox, and it fits both vehicles perfectly with no issues. The hard bottom gives him a stable place to sit or lie down, and I feel much better knowing he's safer in the back seat. I also appreciated that it came with a safety tether that attaches to his harness (the harness isn't included). One of my favorite features is the mesh window between the front and back seats. It lets him see us, which helps keep him much calmer during car rides, and we can still easily interact with him. It also sits low enough that we can crack the windows without sacrificing protection for the doors. The side panels do a great job protecting our leather seats and door panels from scratches, and I love that the sides unzip so he can get in and out more easily. The flap folds down over the door sill, which helps protect the paint and the side of the seat when he jumps into the car. Overall, it's very well designed, practical, and has made traveling with our dog so much easier. I'd definitely buy it again.

This fit perfectly in my SUV and gave our pup the stability he needed. He was having a lot of anxiety before but now he can lay down and relax. He did slide around a lot the first day but we ordered a bed with a grippy bottom and it’s been perfect since. He feels safe and comfortable. The quality, thickness and color were exactly as they seem in the photos. Only complaint is his hair sticks to it like glue but a good vacuum and staying on top of it helps with the buildup not getting too bad. I’ll include a photo of the bed we bought.

As a proud owner of a full grown German Shepherd with anxiety issues, I’ve gone through several back seat extenders for dogs, but none have impressed me like this one. I originally bought it to solve a few problems I encountered with previous extenders: many would bend or fold under the weight of my dog, trapping him in a way that essentially turned the car seat into a hammock. This caused my dog to feel unsupported and anxious, which was exactly the opposite of what I needed. I was looking for something sturdy, supportive, and durable for my large dogs (my Shepherd weighs between 80–90 lbs). Another thing worth mentioning is that I have a 2021 Honda Civic Hatchback, and this extender fits perfectly. It was incredibly easy to install and fits into the backseat without any issues, making it a seamless addition to my car. It doesn’t slide around, and it offers just the right amount of coverage to ensure my dog stays comfortable and secure. What really sets this extender apart from others I’ve tried is its exceptional durability. No bending, no folding, and no pockets that my dog can get stuck in. It’s just a well made, reliable product that has made car trips much more enjoyable for both my dog and me. I feel much better knowing he has the support he needs, and I highly recommend this extender to anyone with large dogs. In short, this is by far the best back seat extender I’ve used and I’m grateful for the peace of mind it provides for both me and my furry companion. Pros: Durable, even after years of use. Provides ample support for large dogs. Fits perfectly in my 2021 Honda Civic Hatchback. Does not bend or fold, unlike cheaper models. Cons: None that I’ve experienced this product has been a game changer for whaty I was looking for! Definitely worth the investment for any pet parent with large dogs.

Haven't had it set up but a few days, but so far I really like it and so does my dog. Fits my 2021 CRV well. Was very easy to install. Will update if it doesn't last, or I have any issues with it.

Using in a 2017 double cab ram 1500, so smaller than a crew cab but still the regular opening doors. If is not quite wide enough for the back seat of a full size truck (does quite reach properly across my back seat), but all the full size truck versions of these were slightly too deep to fit between my back seat and the rear of the front seats. This one is good for the depth in a full size quad/double cab (depending on what your manufacturer calls them), it fits well between the front and back seats, but is a bit too narrow across the rear seats. Has held up very well though with my 100lb dog on long road trips though. Not perfectly water proof though, I had a drink leak in my back seat all over it, and it did leak through and soak into my seat, but overall it's still a great product. Easy to set up.

Fit the backseat of my Ford bronco sport well… now there’s a nice place for my dog to lie down and keeps their muddy paws and wet fur off the seats! I picked this one because the length of the seat part fits and doesn’t interfere with the front seats. Mine had just over 24 inches of space and these fit perfectly.

Nice product but doesn't t last long with two dogs stress. The velcro sest belt opening rips off overtime. It will last a summer. Other than that a great product.

I bought this to replace the regular rear seat cover of my small sedan. My dogs look so much more comfortable on drives and they don't have to worry about falling into the footwells anymore. It's very well made and the board in the cover is very sturdy.
