I assumed that because it was quoted as a replacement for my old unit that the old hands would fit. Not so. The old hands were too narrow to fit over the shaft/spindle. Consequently I had to file the holes until they fitted. I give this unit 5 stars as there is nothing else wrong with it. It fitted snuggly and worked perfectly.
