Review: I've spent $45 trying to get the battery door opened! - Update: I reached out to the company and they sent a replacement and it works! My son loves it and it is super cute when its lit. I appreciate this company for going above and beyond to make us happy, and I plan on purchasing more from them. I have purchased this item for my son twice, and in both instances, we have been unable to remove the screw to insert the batteries. I have tried every type and size of screwdriver, turning the screw both clockwise and counterclockwise. I even attempted to position the item upside down and on its side, but nothing worked! The screw just keeps spinning and does not move at all. As a result, it has become a cute paperweight that tips over easily. I would prefer to buy my son a possessed Furby that works without batteries rather than deal with this frustrating product!

This light is too cute!!! Batteries lasted about two weeks using all night as a night light, will probably last longer if used sparingly (there's no power cord on this). It's got ambient lighting that changes colors, not super bright but perfect for the night light purposes we got it for. It's decently built, very cute!
