Decent small solar charger for power banks, phones or tablets
This is a 20W solar panel that can deliver up to 15W when charging a single device or 10W each if used to charge two items at the same time. It works perfectly in direct sunlight and is small enough to fit inside any bag for easy carry - it's also very lightweight. I also tested it inside, placing it on the windowsill of my bathroom window and after 15 minutes it charged my Pixel 8 phone from 88% to 92%. On a second slightly sunnier day it charged my phone from 92% to 98% and on a third day it charged my phone from 69% to 80%. It's very easy to use and great value. The only concern is the hinges which feel a bit delicate and should not be roughly handled. The solar panel came with a sheet of 5mm thick soft foam inside to protect the screen during transport and I kept it because it prevents the hinges from being compressed or squeezed too tightly when folded up. Overall 5* for charging a power bank, phone or tablet on the go.

Look no further if you’re shopping for an inexpensive solar charger
I rarely leave Amazon reviews—especially 5-star ones—but this product genuinely deserves it.The FlexSolar 20W Portable Solar Panel Charger has exceeded my expectations. The build quality is excellent, it’s lightweight and easy to carry, and I was genuinely amazed by how well it performs, even in less-than-perfect sunlight. It charges reliably and has become an essential part of my outdoor kit.A fantastic product that delivers on its promises. Highly recommended!

Comparison with Big Blue 28W
This will be a running review as I test this panel and the Big Blue panel in different conditions outside.CONDITION 1 : 1 hour before sunset in a grey sky - total cloud cover - rainy :When Flex Solar was plugged into a battery, it showed that it was chargingWhen Big Blue was plugged into a battery, it showed 0 amp on the output ammeter and the battery showed no sign of charging. Also the inbuilt ammeter blinked on and off.I googled it and learned from Big Blue R&D department that Big Blue only operates properly in full sunlight. So I will see if this is the case.I will text them both at different times of the day and under different atmospheric conditions to see which ones perform best.

It charges...much, much slower than the rated output
What a joke! I tested this out of the box with a USB power meter, and it showed 5V*0.6A=3W output in direct sunlight - a far cry from the 15W claimed from either port. I did try this with both the USB-C and USB-A ports, and found the same thing. I also plugged my phone in for 20 minutes, and it received 3% (of a 3900mAh capacity - Samsung S23). So that means it was only charging at about 0.35A or 1.75W, so about a tenth of its rated power. I know that solar panels are unlikely to operate at peak efficiency all the time, but to fall this far short of the claimed output is just unacceptable. Returning this immediately.

Great
Great even charged my battery pack when it was cloudy

Decent kit
Got it on offer, took it to a festival. Granted it was baking hot and wall-to-wall sunshine, but even so the solar panel performed better than expected. Multiple charges of my phone - and like decent charges, 12% to 100% - as well as a vape and a top-up of a portable shower. So in the height of summer, it's dead handy when you're out and about. I'll come and edit this review after trying it out on a cloudy September day.

Robust and works well
I have used this bikepackings, strapped on top of some bags on the rear rack. You get a reasonable amount of power when riding in the sun, enough to keep me totally off grid as long as you get a few hours of sun each day. The devices you charge may get confused when you move rapidly in and out of the sun, we can't blame this panel for that. It's seems to handle rain and mud and dirt well, it still works after getting covered in mud, dust and water biking around a few weeks. It's quite heavy at 676g, but well built and sturdy.
