In case you don't get the reference, its one of the rare case where the sequel might actually be better than the original. The Godfather 1&2 were movies and these are graphic novels. Comics are historically prone to numeric continuation and a sequel should not have been surprising. When it first arrived, I felt My Favorite thing is monsters was a singular work, I stand corrected. I also stand by my opinion! Buy them both. (or buy all four if you are unfamiliar with the Godfathers by those two too!) also buy one of those cool four color pens for any young kid with a desire to draw, who knows? You might inspire the next Emil Ferris. If that works, buy some kid a two ton hunk of marble because you might inspire the next Michealangelo.
