There is a container underneath that is too small to fit the pieces in. Despite being magnetic, the pieces slide about rather too easily. That said, I am a beginner and I've found it to be a helpful learning experience. If you make a mistake you can undo moves easily. If you don't know what to do next you can press the "hint" button and choose the option given - in time you learn to spot things that you used to miss.
