I gave this product a scathing review when I bought it. From its worthless, Chinese-translated instructions to its ultra-tight, non-obvious installation and hand strap too small for even a child's hand, it's a rip-off. Relying on guesswork alone, it took me an hour to work it into place (and it does fit into place snugly). Mine's installed but if I EVER need to remove it, I'll throw it away before I go through that again. Do us ALL a favor and give it the bad review it deserves. Good protectors have a opening on one side that allow you to slide the iPad straight in. This one doesn't! You have to carefully bend plastic and work it in. Chinese junk. **Q: is the home button covered by the screen protector? or is it cut out?** A: Dear Customer, Thank you so much for your question. Yes, it is covered by a protective film in order to resist water entering. But you can also tear it off if needed. Below I also give you a video of the case’s features and installation. Hope it will help you. https://youtu.be/rIQHSOMsDJY This case will provide your iPad with great protection. If you like it, please order it on Amazon. If you have any questions, could you please feel free to contact us anytime at the email as below? We are happy to help! seymacstock@hotmail.com We will try our best to satisfy you! SEYMAC Stock Customer Care Team **Q: is the home button covered by the screen protector? or is it cut out?** A: Covered **Q: My iPad already has a screen protector on it. Is it alright not to use the one included?** A: The one included seals the case so it gives even more protection than screen protector alone. We have a screen protector as welL but still use the one included in addition. ## Frequently Bought Together - SEYMAC stock Case for iPad mini 5/4 with Screen Protector Pencil Holder [360 Rotating Hand Strap] & Stand, Drop-Proof Case for iPad mini 5th/4th Generation 7.9 inch (Black) - Apple iPad Mini 4, 128GB, Space Gray - WiFi (Renewed) - Ailun Screen Protector for iPad Mini 4, iPad Mini 5 2019 2Pack Tempered Glass 2.5D Edge Ultra Clear Transparency Anti Scratches Case Friendly --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/542136941-seymac-stock-case-for-ipad-mini-5th-mini-4th-7](https://www.desertcart.no/products/542136941-seymac-stock-case-for-ipad-mini-5th-mini-4th-7) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
