Some were so overpriced that I have waited, wedging the old latch shut with cardboard (rendering the storage compartment of the arm rest unusable) for a few years now. Amazing how price gouging isn't rejected more by consumers. I recently replaced the DDM and decided, now...with all components it controls working perfectly...I would look into an OEM release latch. I checked out that other big website, finding a few OEMs, but they were all used and looking it big time. There was one OEM that I purchased, and it arrived cracked. I returned it. AND...back to Amazon to see if a new search would turn up something I would feel comfortable in buying to match my vehicle. This product by HUYILUN0104 (a.k.a. Tianniao Auto Parts) surfaced. It looked SO similar, even though it isn''t an OEM part. I did some searching on the brand and company name and found that they have quite high ratings overall at 4.4 and decided it's worth a try before taking a trip to a local junk yard. PERFECT CHOICE, PERFECT FIT, NO RATTLING AROUND OR EVEN SLIGHTLY LOOSE WHEN CLOSED. And it MATCHES the light grayish tan interior of my doors, as well as the release latch paint matching my original three. Yes, I will purchase from this vendor again, if what I need is available through this company. I wish I knew more about them, as in, where are they located? What is their history? Who owns them? How old is the company? They have several brands they supply, and I definitely would like to know more. It may even be an Amazon original, but that has not been disclosed, if, indeed, it's a fact. I cannot find a physical location for this company, nor can I find the actual name when I do a search. SOLVE THE MYSTERY, AMAZON. Who is this company, really? Where are they located? Where are the parts they sell manufactured? Whatever the answers, they seem to do a great job, above satisfactory. So...fill in the blanks??
