## Description

Read Before Purchase: 1. This product is only compatible with Steam Deck LCD handheld game console, not fit for other model handheld console. 2. Please don’t wrongly think this is a whole console. Actually, they are full housing shells with full set buttons for Steam Deck without any electronic parts. The console and other parts are not included. 3. Requires customers to take apart the console to replace the original shells and buttons with eXtremeRate accessories. Requires customers with high hands-on skills, no soldering is required. Get the installation video guide on YouTube by searching "eXtremeRate Full Set Shell for Steam Deck" Installation Tips: Go slow. Check every connection. Keep your screws and inner parts organized. Watch a YouTube video on how to do it though, pausing and replaying often. During reassembling the handheld console you must be conscious of how tight you are tightening the screws, and be careful not to strip the screws or over-tighten any screws. There are multiple very delicate ribbon cables in the device that need to be removed and reattached. Use tweezers instead of bulky fingers at all times to help with the little pieces that you'll take to move to the new case. Installing the console back plate is easy. Simply disassemble your original back housing from the console, then replace it with eXtremeRate backplate. Please not over heating and too long when heating the screen during disassembly. Also, make sure the distance is no more than 3mm when using the prying tool to tear down the screen to avoid damage. A fun way to make your steam deck stand out. The plastic feels high quality and the colouring (I order the Chameleon Purple/Blue) looks outstanding. It's not simply two tones, but actually has a pearlescent quality where the colours appear to shift from Blue to Purple depending on the angle of the light. Includes several useful tools for making the replacement which is helpful. I would reccomend using plastic guitar pick rather than the metal one include. The metal one should work fine but a plastic one is a bit safer. Everything you need to complete the shell replacement is included in the box. 5.5/5
