Melting Clocks is the debut solo recording by Orphaned Land guitarist Yossi Sassi and not unlike the unique and unorthadox sound of said band, this album trailblazes a whole new path in the Metal world. Featuring ex-Megadeth guitar whiz Marty Friedman and playing a whole host of traditional instruments (saz, bousouki, oud, chambush to name but a few), Melting Clocks takes you on a whirlwind musical journey around the world. The Orphaned Land clash of Middle Eastern sounds, progressive music, funky grooves and amazing melodies are combined into an all instrumantal album that is certainly one of the more diverse and atmospheric albums you will hear. If you are into Orphaned Land, Doom Metal, Progressive Rock or instumental music, Meltig Clocks is certainly an album you will want to experience!

Todah Elohim.
This is a great Israeli/Oriental album. Yossi Sassi is an awesome guitar, he is really unique, and I'm glad that he is pursuing his solo career. He did a wonderful job with Orphaned Land. God bless him.
