will this work with Philips dimmer switch

To be honest we don't know as we work it with our Alexa & she dims it for us 😃

Can I control this from anywhere using app or do I have to be connected via bluetooth to control?

You can as long as you have a Hue bridge connected to WiFi. If not its only controlled via Bluetooth locally.

Can you control this using a phone only?

I use my Alexa to control it mainly. Pretty handy if you haven’t got any hands to turn on the light
