WiFi Hydroponics Growing System

I love this hydroponic garden system. I grew cherry tomatoes that tasted fantastic. I plan on buying a few more after my great experience with ties one. It’s easy to setup and clean. I don’t recommend overcrowding it, but you can’t beat the price.

I'm dreaming of creating an herbal garden in my Veranda which is enclosed in glass. However, this hydroponic growing system doesn't really need that because it is a self-contained system. It has lights, water circulation, and containment as well. It is ideal to have live plants even right in your kitchen. My dream is to always have fresh basil, oregano, and rosemary to mention a few. My interest is to start from seeds, and then replant in a pot with soil. You can do it that way as much as you want depending on how elaborate you want your lighting to be, or whether you have some sunny windows to place them in. The unit itself is rather compact measuring 14" x5" x 6". The upper light pole is adjustable so you can optimize the height for what you are growing. It even has a Smart Garden app to control it in addition to the touch controls on top of the light tower. Turning it on connects with your Wi-Fi and turns on the unit. Then by pressing the water button the pump automatically turns on. If you press the button to turn off, the pump will automatically turn on after 10 hours. That's a safety device that is intended to keep your plants alive and thriving, even if you forget to turn the water back on. There is a separate mode for vegetables, and another mode for flowers and fruits. There is even an automatic feature so the light doesn't disturb your sleep during the nighttime. So, you can disable the current planting mode to turn off the light, and the light will automatically turn on again after 10 hours. It doesn't come with seeds, but there are a large variety of seed packs available here on Amazon. Seeds by far are the least expensive way to grow anything. If you have the option to pot up some starters after the hydroponic system gets them going, you can create a wide array of items in the spring for outside planting. I don't have anything negative to say about this self-contained hydroponic system. Although I have used grow lights before this is my first experience with hydroponics. I see in Japan they have huge warehouses that hydroponically grow thousands of for example heads of lettuce, and do so economically. This is a new adventure, and this kit seems like a great way to get started.

This is my second hydroponic purchase. If you would like to easily grow herbs and lettuce then this one will do. I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons, 1) the wand is plastic and cheaper than my first and 2) I have already needed to clear the pump from roots. It will make loud noises when it is clogged. For the price this is a great beginner hydroponic system that can sit on your countertop or shelf.

Let me start by saying that I never thought I'd see the day when I could have a full-blown green grocer right in my kitchen. But thanks to the iDOO WiFi Hydroponic Growing System, that dream has become a reality! This little gem has completely changed the way I approach indoor gardening. First off, let's talk about convenience. This system is compact and doesn't take up much space, making it a perfect fit for my kitchen counter. I mean, who needs a coffee maker when you can have cherry tomatoes in the middle of winter? And don't get me started on the joy of having fresh Brussels sprouts whenever I want them. Setting up the system was a breeze. The LED grow light perfectly simulates sunlight, ensuring my plants grow faster than ever before. Plus, with the app-controlled auto-timer, I can adjust the lighting and pump running time to cater to the specific needs of each plant. It's like having my very own personal plant concierge! One of my favorite features is the adjustable light pole. It allows me to provide the ideal growing space for plants at different stages of growth, ensuring they thrive and flourish. And let's not forget about the joy of recording every beautiful moment on the app. I've become a proud parent, capturing all the milestones of my little green babies. Now, let's get to the pros and cons: Pros: - Compact design, perfect for small spaces. - Efficient full-spectrum LED grow light for rapid plant growth. - Customizable growing modes for different types of plants. - Adjustable light pole for optimal plant development. - The app-controlled system provides convenience and flexibility. - Makes for a unique and thoughtful gift. Cons: - The app only supports 2.4GHz networks. - Limited to 8 pods, which may not be enough for some garden enthusiasts. All in all, the iDOO WiFi Hydroponic Growing System has exceeded my expectations. It's a game-changer for indoor gardening, allowing me to enjoy fresh and healthy produce all year round. Say goodbye to the grocery store and hello to the green oasis in your kitchen. Trust me, you won't regret it!

I followed all the simplified instructions to soak the seeds, use good water, use the solutions, and so on. My only difficulty was trying to link the device to an app via Bluetooth, but customer service was very helpful in giving me step-by-step directions. We corresponded via email, they were very prompt with replies. All of the equipment works fine. Time will tell once the seeds germinate. I will update if needed. Everything was supplied in the kit except the seeds and the water. UPDATE: In less than 1 week half my seeds sprouted! I didn't even realize until I looked and saw the plastic cover was crooked - the sprouts had pushed it up out of the way! Within 10 days all but one plant had sprouted. The last one hasn't sprouted yet but it is cilantro and may take a little longer. The plants are strong and healthy. Not all 4 seeds in each pod sprouted yet, except for the cherry/grape tomatoes and the lettuce. Some of the others gave me 2 plants out of the 4 seeds - red bell pepper and hot banana peppers. I'm very pleased and only used this in the manual settings, not connected to my cellphone.

I like growing my herbs inside but the pump stopped working after 3 months….. just after warranty ended. Very disappointing.

This hydroponic set works great! I was skeptical at first because it's significantly smaller than my other kit, but I think for being around half the price of my other kit, this set still packs great value. It does actually seem to be better constructed than my other larger hydroponics kit. I've had the results I expected with this kit, and don't really have any issues with it. Tip: As with any other desktop hydro kits, you need to protect the motor of the pump. May sure to routinely check "under the hood" and trim the roots if they're getting too long. Light trimming long roots will not harm your plants, and if any roots, even fine ones, get into the pump, they can jam the pump and cause a motor burn out, rendering your whole kit useless. So remember to routinely check for long roots and keep your pump's intake filters / ports clean!

This is a review for iDOO WiFi Hydroponics Growing System. I’ve always wanted one of these “aqua garden” style planters, and this was easy to set up right out of the box. The design is simple and straightforward, so you don’t have to deal with complicated assembly. It feels sturdy enough for basic use, but the plastic is very lightweight and not super high quality - I wouldn’t expect it to hold up long under heavy use or rough handling. Overall, it’s a fun, affordable way to try this type of garden setup, just don’t expect premium materials.
