Has anyone used the purple shampoo with their extensions? I have hand tied extensions, will the shampoo dry them out?

I do not have extensions. But this shampoo DID dry out my color treated hair. I will never buy it again. I use Blacklight by Oliga. Is a very moisturizing shampoo and it keeps the brass out of my blonde.
