**Q: Would they cut mountboard**
A: Hi, Yes.  I tried it on your behalf on two different samples of 1.2 mm thick mountboard.The scissors cut the boards easily.  The cut is not as clean as with a scalpel, but good enough.On thicker mountboard  ? - I don't know.

**Q: Are the handles suitable for a man's hand, with big fingers?**
A: I would think my hands are of average size, and my fingers fit the handles comfortably, but if they were much bigger, they probably would not. I think these scissors are of average size - you might do better to buy in a store where you can try them for size!

**Q: Are the handles dishwasher proof?**
A: Sorry, I can't help as I don't have a dishwasher.  However, I have wiped them with hot, soapy water.

**Q: It is the blade that measures 20cm or the whole pair of scissors?**
A: whole scissor is 20cm, blade is 11cm.     We have found the set very good value for money and use them every day (honestly).
