I bought this Buttermilk Powder by Medley Hills Farm for $13.49 on Amazon, and let me tell you—it’s a total game-changer for anyone who’s ever forgotten about a carton of liquid buttermilk in the fridge (RIP to my past baking ambitions). What I Love: Always Ready When I Am: No more last-minute trips to the store because I underestimated the buttermilk-to-bread ratio again. This powder is shelf-stable and waiting to save the day whenever the baking bug bites. Perfect Texture and Taste: I’ve used it in biscuits, pancakes, and even salad dressings—it delivers the tangy, creamy goodness without fail. My family thinks I’ve leveled up as a chef. I’m not correcting them. Reusable Container: The sturdy container keeps the powder fresh and mess-free. Plus, it’s a bonus that I don’t have to deal with the sour smell of expired liquid buttermilk haunting my fridge. So Many Uses: Biscuits? Perfect. Pancakes? Fluffy. Cakes? Moist. Dressing? Delicious. Basically, this powder’s batting a thousand in my kitchen. What Could Be Better: My only complaint is that I didn’t find this sooner. Years of failed buttermilk math could’ve been avoided. Final Thoughts: If you bake—or just want buttermilk at your beck and call without the drama—this is a must-have. It’s versatile, delicious, and one of the smartest $13.49 investments I’ve made. Highly recommend for anyone who’s tired of buttermilk expiration anxiety.

Have purchased several times. I make a herbal powder with the buttermilk powder, add yogurt, mayo, vinegar, salt & pepper. This makes a tasty, easy homemade salad dressing.

Good quality, dissolves easily in warm water. I don’t use buttermilk enough to keep fresh buttermilk in the fridge. This works great. I marinate chicken, use it in biscuits, cake mixes, etc., handy, good product.

I bought this to make ranch dressing because keeping perishable buttermilk at the ready wasn’t practical. Although it appears to be a quality product, it has a bit of a sweet element that doesn’t work with ranch dressing! Luckily, as an avid baker, I will use it in recipes that require it. Overall good product, just not right for my original reason to purchase.

I love having this on hand. I used to buy buttermilk for a recipe, use a tiny amount, and then watch the rest slowly spoil in the fridge. This powder completely solved that problem. It’s super convenient—just mix what you need when you need it. Great for baking, pancakes, biscuits, and anything that calls for buttermilk. If you’re tired of wasting cartons of buttermilk like I was, this is a great pantry staple to keep around.

Arrived quickly and is excellent quality.

This works really well for biscuits and pancakes. I am very pleased with the rich flavor it gave and it seemed to increase the leavening process. It's convenient because you can make a cup at a time as you need it and no waste. I also like the ling shelf life. I will definitely buy again.

Didn't want to keep getting liquid so bought this powder and they are perfect in smoothies.

Bought this for a friend and she loves it. Says she will get me to order more.
