Works exactly as intended and incredible customer service! - Don't use this with a dimmable transformer! It will not work and likely will damage the switch/controller. Lesson learned the hard way. Go for a constant voltage transformer. That key point aside I'm super happy with this unit and had multiple conversations back/forth with the seller to sort out my issue. They were quick to respond and helped me get it working with a replacement unit after I unknowingly fried mine with a dimmable transformer. I have it setup and working through a 3/4" plywood side panel exactly as described and love the setup! Totally hidden and works perfectly. Not typically one to spend my time writing reviews but there's quite a few that seemed to have issues with it and I'm hopeful my mistakes will save someone else. Additionally the seller was so helpful and responsive that I feel the least I can do is give them the credit they deserve! Review: Better than expected - This was an excellent choice for a vanity mirror light addition in my motorcoach. Functions well, the dimming is excellent great value for the money. Arrived on time in new condition well packaged. ## Features - SMART TOUCH DIMMING WITH MEMORY: Short touch for light on/off; long press for stepless brightness adjustment — remembers your last setting, so light returns to preferred brightness every time (resets after power loss) - WIDE VOLTAGE COMPATIBILITY: Works with DC power supplies ranging from 3.7V to 24V, making it versatile for various low voltage LED lighting applications including 5V(5A), 12V(5A), and 24V(3A) light strip / bar (Note: this dimmer can not connect to a constant current power), (If your fixture is using AC power, please visit B0D2HJ6DLD) - PENETRATES NON-METALLIC PANELS: Sensor signal passes through wood, stone, glass, acrylic, and plastic up to 1 inch (2.5cm) thick — mount behind any surface for a clean, seamless look.
