This updated version gives you a DETAILED explanation of the remote and breaks down how to use each section which the 1st one did not. The 1st one had heat issues and I got burned twice after testing the new one I was able to see they fixed that issue as well. The latest version is much better and I would buy from them again knowing that they figured out the problems and fixed them and wish to have their customers happy. All arthritic issues. It has been amazing that after about 2 weeks of use each day, I am pain free for days or weeks. Some times I go back to the ankle or knee and do another day or two, and the pain is gone again.
